    Abstract: A device and a method for measuring a time-resolved thermal image. An embodiment comprises an optical imaging unit comprising a camera and a probe light source, the optical imaging unit emitting a probe optical signal from the probe light source to a sample during a time-resolution time; a control unit for outputting a first trigger signal to the camera, outputting a driving signal to the probe light source such that the probe light source emits the probe light source to the sample during the time-resolution time, outputting a second trigger signal to a bias unit in an turn-on interval, and outputting no second trigger signal to the bias unit in a turn-off interval; and a bias unit for applying a bias signal generated on the basis of the second trigger signal in the turn-on interval to the sample, and applying no bias signal to the sample in the turn-off interval.

    Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a diamond knife for an ultra-microtome, including determining a shape and size of a knife, performing a multiphase flow analysis on movement of a droplet at a fore-end of the knife with the determined shape and size, processing a fine pattern to ensure hydrophobic property according to a result of the flow analysis, and grinding a blade of the knife after the processing of the fine pattern to minimize an interval between the pattern and the blade and, thus, a knife blade is always maintained in a wet state due to a droplet movement between a hydrophobic fine pattern and a hydrophilic surface to continuously generate ultrathin slices.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a beef-specific age determination marker containing the p21 protein, to an antibody specifically bound to bovine p21 protein, to a beef-specific age determination kit containing the antibody which is specifically bound to the bovine p21 protein, and to a method which involves detecting the bovine p21 protein through an antigen-antibody binding reaction using the antibody which is specifically bound to the bovine p21 protein serving as a beef-specific age determination marker in the muscle tissue of beef, so as to determine the age of the beef. According to the present invention, the p21 protein is significantly greatly expressed in the muscle tissue of beef, the age of which is lower than 30 months, and is hardly expressed in the muscle tissue of beef, the age of which is greater than 30 months, and thus can be valuably used as a beef-specific age determination marker.
