Abstract: Signals representing the colour images are analysed by a line scanning process of a given line scanning frequency. The signals are subjected to signal component removal at regular intervals, each corresponding to a non-integral multiple of the line scanning frequency in a given band. Device including a comb filter develops signals representing the images chrominance and occupying only the given band. The comb filter removers chrominance representative components at a scanning group of regularly spaced locations, each an integral multiple of the line scanning frequency.
