Abstract: An apparatus for refractory organics conversion into biogas includes an anaerobic digester configured to be fed with organic material comprising refractory organics and to generate biogas and a digestate comprising at least a part of the refractory organics, wherein the apparatus comprises a device for a controlled partial oxidation of the refractory organics comprising an inlet configured to be fed with refractory organics and means configured to control the residence time of the refractory organics within the device for a controlled partial oxidation, so as to partially degrade refractory organics. A method for refractory organics conversion into biogas carried out using such an apparatus is also provided.

The method includes an acquisition step to acquire a plurality of pressures values for each high frequency pressure sensor during a preset time limit, said plurality of pressures values defining a sampled pressure variation record nearby each sensor during said preset time limit; a detection step for detecting transient events amongst the sampled pressure variation record; a grouping step for grouping detected transient events amongst the sampled pressure variation record; and a localization step for localizing the source of said grouped transient events in function of said sampled pressure variation records.

Abstract: A method allowing data delivered by a rain gauge to be validated in real time is provided. The method includes steps of: receiving, in a defined time window, pluviometric data from a gauge and weather data from at least one weather radar; computing a coefficient of gauge/radar similarity between the pluviometric data received from the gauge and the weather data received from the at least one weather radar; comparing the value of the coefficient of obtained gauge/radar similarity to a threshold gauge/radar value; and validating the pluviometric data of the gauge if the value of the coefficient of gauge/radar similarity is higher than or equal to the threshold gauge/radar value.

Abstract: A method is provided for placing sensors in a fluid distribution network by simulating network operating scenarios; by determining candidate sets of sensor positions; by determining the measurements of each sensor in each scenario, and the detection of associated anomalies; by attributing a score to each candidate set of sensor positions, representing the capacity of the sensors placed in the positions of the set to accomplish a mission. Finally, the candidate sets are modified using so-called genetic algorithms until a stop criterion is validated. The genetic algorithms can for example consist in crossing over or mutating candidate sets.

Abstract: A device for detecting and characterizing anomalies in a water continuum is provided. The device is configured to receive measurements of physical quantities on the basis of sensors situated in the water continuum. The measurements are thereafter transformed, and a detection of anomalies is performed by a detector of anomalies which is trained with transformed values arising from the same sensors. In parallel with the detection, predefined rules make it possible to characterize a possible anomaly. Thus, an anomaly detection can be optimized for a water continuum in particular, whilst characterization with predefined rules allows the device to be operational without each anomaly having needed to be detected in this water continuum in particular.
