Abstract: PURPOSE: A mousse type cosmetic composition for blocking UV rays is provided to maintain applicability on a wide region by containing an inorganic UV blocking agent and to be used for leisure sports as well daily life. CONSTITUTION: A mousse type cosmetic composition contains an inorganic UV blocking agent. The sun protection factor(SPF) of the cosmetic composition is 50 or greater and UVA protection level is PA+++. The cosmetic composition contains 1-40 wt% of an organic UV blocking agent, 1-20 wt% of the inorganic UV blocking agent, 1-30 wt% of an alcohol ingredient, 5-20 wt% of an oil ingredient, 0.1-10 wt% of a non-ionic surfactant, 0.1-5 wt% of amphoteric surfactant, 0.1-5.0 wt% of aliphatic alcohol, 0.1-10 wt% of a powder ingredient, and 0.1-5 wt% of an inorganic pigment ingredient. The inorganic UV blocking agent is selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, and ferric oxide.
