Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing EGCG(epigallocatechin gallate) for skin whitening and a method for stabilizing EGCG are provided to improve long-term stability and to maximize the whitening effect. CONSTITUTION: A composition for skin whitening contains EGCG as an active ingredient, a natural inorganic thickener, and an anionic surfactant.
