PURPOSE: A spray type cosmetic composition for UV protection is provided to enhance cooling property, water repellency, and dispersion ability by increasing the content of an inorganic UV protection agent, and to ensure SPF 50 and PA+++ UVA protection level. CONSTITUTION: A spray type cosmetic composition for UV protection contains an inorganic UV protection agent. The cosmetic composition contains SPF 50 or greater and PA+++ UVA protection level. The cosmetic composition contains 10-50 wt% of an organic UV protection agent, 1-20 wt% of the inorganic UV protection agent, 5-30 wt% of an alcohol ingredient, 10-50 wt% of an oil ingredient, and 0.1-10 wt% of a powder ingredient. The inorganic UV protection agent is selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, and ferric oxide.

PURPOSE: A mousse type cosmetic composition for blocking UV rays is provided to maintain applicability on a wide region by containing an inorganic UV blocking agent and to be used for leisure sports as well daily life. CONSTITUTION: A mousse type cosmetic composition contains an inorganic UV blocking agent. The sun protection factor(SPF) of the cosmetic composition is 50 or greater and UVA protection level is PA+++. The cosmetic composition contains 1-40 wt% of an organic UV blocking agent, 1-20 wt% of the inorganic UV blocking agent, 1-30 wt% of an alcohol ingredient, 5-20 wt% of an oil ingredient, 0.1-10 wt% of a non-ionic surfactant, 0.1-5 wt% of amphoteric surfactant, 0.1-5.0 wt% of aliphatic alcohol, 0.1-10 wt% of a powder ingredient, and 0.1-5 wt% of an inorganic pigment ingredient. The inorganic UV blocking agent is selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, and ferric oxide.

PURPOSE: A method for evaluating the efficiency of a sun screen is provided to accurately evaluate efficiency of blocking blue/violet light. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating the efficiency of a sun screen comprises: a step of applying a subject on a sunlight permeable material; a step of irradiating skin cells with the sunlight; and a step of collecting the skin cells and measuring gene expression level in the cells. The sunlight is UV ray with 290-400 nm of wavelength or blue/violet light with 400-500 nm of wavelength. The sunlight permeable material is a quartz plate or band pass filter. The skin cells include keratinocytes, fibroblast, or melanocytes.

CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for UV protection contains acrylates copolymer or 0.1-20 weight% of vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer film forming agent. The film forming agent evens the surface of skin. The acrylate copolymer is acrylate/acrylamide copolymer, acrylate/actoacetoxy ethyul metha-acrylate copolymer, acrylate/C10-30 alkyl acrylate cross-linking polymer, acrylate/C12-C22 alkyl metha acrylate copolymer, arylate copolymer, or arylate/polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) copolymer. The cosmetic composition additionally contains an oil ingredient, dispersing agent, perfume, surfactant, or moisturizer.

An emulsion composition is provided to improve skin delivering capability and skin adhesion property of ceramide and enhance moisturizing capability and moisturization persistency of the ceramide by encapsulating a ceramide ingredient with excellent moisturizing capability, a main skin lipid ingredient, into a nano-sized capsule particle and then formulating the encapsulated ceramide ingredient into an emulsion. An emulsion composition comprises a ceramide capsule formulation including 1.0-10.0 wt.% of ceramide as a core, 3.0-30.0 wt.% of a wax matrix layer encapsulating the ceramide and 0.1-30 wt.% of a polymer layer encapsulating the wax matrix, wherein a diameter of the ceramide capsule is 10-1,000 nanometers. A skin cosmetic composition comprises the emulsion composition. A method for preparing the emulsion composition comprises the steps of: (a) after dissolving ceramide, wax and polymer by heating, dispersing the solution using a homogenizer to prepare a hydrophobic mixture; and (b) after dissolving aqueous phase raw materials by heating, gradually adding the hydrophobic mixture thereto to emulsify. Further, a phase of the wax is solid at a room temperature.
