Abstract: PURPOSE: A probe set for diagnosing or detecting CPMMV(cowpea mild mottle virus) is provided to minimize damage due to viral diseases in crops and to enhance production. CONSTITUTION: An oilgonucleotide probe set for diagnosing or detecting CPMMV contains one or more oligonucleotides selected from the group consisting of oligonucleotides in sequence numbers 578-587 and complementary oligonucleotides thereof. A method for diagnosing or detecting CPMMV comprises: a step of isolating RNA from a sample; a step of synthesizing cDNA using the RNA as a template; a step of hybridizing the cDNA with the probe set; and a step of identifying the hybridization. Abstract: Specific primers for detection of tabacco streak virus are provided to improve specificity of detection by performing the species specific detection through RT-PCR(reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction), and enhance limit of detection by resolving non-specific reactions of serological diagnosis.
