Abstract: An organic light emitting display and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the number of the mask process by patterning a gate electrode and a pixel electrode at the same. A gate electrode(120) is arranged on a substrate and includes a metal oxide layer and a metal layer. A pixel electrode(130) is arranged on the substrate to be insulated from the gate electrode and includes the metal oxide layer. A gate insulating layer(112) is arranged on the substrate in order to cover the gate electrode. A semiconductor layer(140) includes a channel region arranged in a position corresponding to the gate electrode, and first and second regions arranged outside the channel region, and is arranged on the gate insulating layer. A first electrode(161) is connected to the first region of the semiconductor layer. A second electrode(162) is connected to the second region and the pixel electrode of the semiconductor layer. An ohmic contact layer(150) is arranged between the first region of the semiconductor and the first electrode and between the second region of the semiconductor and the second electrode. A pixel defining layer(170) includes an opening to expose a part of the pixel electrode and is arranged on the substrate in order to cover the first electrode, the second electrode, the semiconductor layer and the pixel electrode. An organic light-emitting layer(180) is arranged on the pixel electrode of the opening. An opposite electrode(190) covers the organic light-emitting layer.
