Abstract:
A receiving apparatus and method in a MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) wireless communication system are provided to effectively generate an LLR(Log Likelihood Ratio). A channel estimator(202) estimates a channel of a reception signal via a plurality of receive antennas and provides the same to a MIMO detector(204). The MIMO detector demodulates inputted reception signal vectors according to a MIMO detection method and provides LLRs with respect to the estimated transmission signal vectors to a deinterleaver(206). The deinterleaver deinterleaves the LLRs according to a given rule, and outputs the same. A channel decoder(208) performs soft decision decoding on the LLRs provided from the deinterleaver to restore an information bit sequence.

A data transmitting and receiving apparatus based on an HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface) is provided to transmit and receive data between a source device and a sync device by using only one HDMI cable between the source device and the sync device. A transmitting unit(402) transmits data. A receiving unit(404) receives the data. A transmitting and receiving switch unit(406) enables the transmitting unit(402) so that it is possible to operate only the transmitting unit(402) when it is operated as a source device, and enables the receiving unit(404) so that it is possible to operate only the receiving unit(404) when it is operated as a sync device. A control unit(412) controls the transmitting and receiving switch unit(406) on the basis of a control signal.

An apparatus and a method for providing a three-dimensional EPG(electronic programming guide) are provided to allow a user to conveniently and intuitionally search for broadcasting program information included in the EPG. An EPG screen configuring unit(140) configures an EPG screen such that broadcasting program information is displayed on at least three faces of a three-dimensional polyhedron. A controlling unit(130) controls the EPG screen configuring unit(140) to configure the EPG screen such that broadcasting program information about another broadcasting time zone or another broadcasting channel is displayed on the EPG screen based on a user input signal requesting a search for the broadcasting program information about another broadcasting time zone or another broadcasting channel.

Provided are a display device, a control method thereof, and a method for controlling a voice recognition system. The method for controlling the display device comprises: determining whether a user voice is a previously stored command in the display device and transmitting the user voice to an interactive server when the user voice to control the display device is inputted; and performing a function of the display device according to control information transmitted from the interactive server and displaying a first piece of guide information after transmitting, by the interactive server, the control information corresponding to the user voice and the first piece of guide information to guide the user to a previously stored command capable of performing the same function as the user voice when the user voice is not a previously stored command in the display device.

Disclosed is a control method for a display apparatus. The control method comprises the steps of: displaying a pointer to perform a motion task mode in accordance to a preset event; displaying a GUI to provide a motion guide on a region adjacent to the pointer; and changing and displaying a displayed state of the GUI when the pointer is moved in accordance to a user′s motion.
