Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for compensating a chromatic aberration of an image are provided to remove various chromatic aberrations effectively such as LCA(Longitudinal Chromatic Aberration), TCA(Transverse Chromatic Abbreviation), and blooming. An image input unit(110) reads a pixel value comprising an input image and divides the pixel value into a luminance signal and a chrominance signal. A chromatic aberration area sensing unit(120) uses a luminance signal to sense a chromatic aberration area. A color gradient calculation unit(130) calculates a chromatic aberration degree from a gradient difference between color elements making an input image. A luminance gradient calculation unit(140) calculates a chromatic aberration degree by using a gradient of a luminance element making the input image.

Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for generating tomography images having a modulation and calibration device and a method of operating the same. The tomography image-generating apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a light source unit to emit light used for irradiating a subject; an optical control unit to control the propagating direction of light; an optical coupler to divide/combine incident light; a plurality of optical systems optically connected to the optical coupler; and an optical modulation and calibration device used for the light irradiated to the subject. The modulation and calibration device can be provided between the optical control unit and the coupler. Also, the modulation and calibration device can be included in the optical system irradiating the subject among the plurality of optical systems. The optical modulation device can modulate only incident light reflected to the subject. [Reference numerals] (60) Subject (organ)
