Abstract: PURPOSE: A driving device of an image display panel and a designing method thereof are provided to prevent the generation of undesired noise by converting digital image data to analog signals each pixel to generate a driving voltage and controlling the driving voltage to generate an analog driving voltage. CONSTITUTION: A driving device of an image display panel includes a digital/analog converter portion(210), a pixel driving portion(220), and a liquid crystal cell(230). The digital/analog converter portion converts digital pixel data to analog pixel data. The pixel driving portion receives an analog pixel signal, charges the first charge element by switching the analog pixel signal, charges the second charge element by switching the charged signal, and discharges the previous frame signals of the second charge element and the liquid crystal cell before charging a present frame signal into the second charge element. The liquid crystal cell is used for displaying images.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for converting a color temperature are provided to convert a video depending on a user's request by detecting the color temperature within the wider range. CONSTITUTION: An XYZ converting part(401) converts RGB signals of input video data into X,Y, and Z values of a CIE coordinate system. A chrominance calculating part(405) calculates X and Y coordinates. An offset correcting part(407) corrects the X coordinate based on a difference in X coordinate and a difference in Y coordinate between a color temperature placed on a white point line of the CIE coordinate system and an actual color temperature of the video data in the case of calculating the color temperature based on the X coordinate. A color temperature calculating part(409) calculates the color temperature of the video data inputted based on the corrected X coordinate. A color temperature converting part(420) converts the color temperature into a predetermined color temperature.

CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for generating a coefficient index of an input color temperature includes a color temperature coefficient index calculation unit(310) and a color temperature coefficient storage unit(330). The color temperature coefficient index calculation unit calculates a group index and a sub-index with respect to the input color temperature to produce the index for the color temperature. The color temperature coefficient storage unit groups a predetermined number of color temperature coefficients and indices corresponding to the color temperature coefficients to store the groups and detects the color temperature coefficient corresponding to the calculated index.
