Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a strip of good quality in twin roll strip casting machine by ejecting an inert gas onto the surface of casting rolls, thereby preventing vapor of molten steel from depositing on the casting rolls is provided, and a vapor blower of the strip casting machine used in the method is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a strip of good quality in twin roll strip casting machine comprises the steps of measuring widthwise temperature distribution of thin slab(50) passing through a pair of casting rolls; discriminating abnormal temperature region from the measured widthwise temperature distribution of thin slab; preventing deposition of vaporization constituents by ejecting inert gas onto the concerned surface of the casting rolls corresponding to the abnormal temperature region within a meniscus shield; and finishing ejection of the inert gas when the widthwise temperature distribution of the thin slab is uniformized. The vapor blower of the strip casting machine comprises a temperature gauge(70) for measuring widthwise temperature distribution of thin slab passing through a pair of casting rolls; an operation controller(80) for discriminating abnormal temperature region from the measured widthwise temperature distribution of thin slab and operating gas supply conditions for obtaining normal temperature by ejecting gas onto the surface of the casting rolls corresponding to the abnormal temperature region; and a gas ejection means(60) for ejecting inert gas onto the concerned surface of the casting rolls within a meniscus shield according to the gas supply conditions.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method is provided which treats the surface of casting rolls of a twin roll strip caster so that the dimple circumferential part of the casting rolls has a gentle curvature, and the dimple-dimple surface part of the casting rolls has a fine surface roughness. CONSTITUTION: The method for forming dimple on the surface of casting rolls of a twin roll strip caster comprises the steps of first etching the surface of the casting rolls by an ordinary photo etching method; cleaning the casting rolls after removing a film formed on the etched casting rolls using an alkaline aqueous solution; and second etching the surface of the casting rolls using a second etching equipment(20) equipped with a plurality of spray nozzles(22) spraying an etchant from the inside of a chamber(21), a spray nozzle transfer device(23) horizontally transferring the spray nozzles and a roll driving unit which is installed inside the chamber so as to rotate the casting rolls forwardly and reversely, thereby forming dimple having a gentle curvature on the circumferential part of the casting rolls, and giving fine roughness on the dimple-dimple surface part of the casting rolls.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A built-in type processor for outputting information to a plurality of displays is provided to output information transmitted from a plurality of sensing cameras to a plurality of display units by processing the information by one processor. CONSTITUTION: A processor includes a CPU(9), a memory(5) and 'n'th video controllers(2,3,4). The video controllers(2,3,4) control operations of display devices(21,22,23) respectively through each communication line(31,32,33). An area allocating map of the memory(5) includes 'n'th memory areas(6,7,8) allocated respectively with respect to the video controllers(2,3,4). The video controllers(2,3,4) read information from the memory areas(6,7,8) allocated to thereof, and displays information to the display devices(21,22,23) being connected thereto. The CPU(9) writes a plurality of information inputted from the exterior of a processor(1) in the memory areas(6,7,8) respectively, and controls of an initialization, a synchronization and an activation or a non-activation of the video controllers(2,3,4) through a control bus(12). The video controllers(2,3,4) read information from the memory areas(6,7,8) and display the information on the display devices(21,22,23). The CPU(9) updates information of the memory areas(6,7,8) by a dynamic information processing method.

Abstract: 본 고안은 고장에 대한 코드를 표시하는 장치가 내장되어 있는 피엘씨에 관한 것이다.
본 고안은 기본적으로 피엘씨의 중앙처리장치(1)에 고장표시기(6)를 설치하고, 종래의 통신유니트에서 공정감시 모니터(5)로 전송하던 정보를 상기 고장표시기(6)의 입력에 인가함을 원리로 한다.
본 고안에 의하면 피엘씨의 고장 상태가 코드화되어 피엘씨에 장착되어 있는 고장표시기에 직접 표시되므로, 시리얼통신 케이블(3)에 고장이 있는 경우에도 정확하게 에러 또는 고장을 알 수 있고, 현장 작업자들이 원거리에 위치한 중앙감시반까지 이동할 필요가 없이 피엘씨의 상태를 알 수 있어서 보다 신속하고 정확하게 에러 또는 고장에 대한 심층 처리를 할 수 있는 매우 획기적인 효과가 있다.
