Abstract:
본 발명은 25℃ 이상의 고농도 나이팜에서 발생하는 상분리 현상을 이용하고, 미세유체장치에서의 제어에 의해 얻어지는 야누스 또는 코어-쉘 형상을 갖는 미세액적 또는 미세입자에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 미세액적 또는 미세입자는 온도 변화에 따른 부피 변화의 이방성을 지니며, 또한 지용성/수용성 담체로써의 역할을 할 수 있기 때문에, 향후 새로운 의약품 재료로서 다양한 응용분야에 적용하는 것이 가능하다.
Abstract:
A microdroplet or microparticle with Janus or core-shell internal morphology, which is obtained under the control of phase separation of high-concentration NIPAAm formed at 25° C. or more in a microfluidic device, is provided. The microdroplet or microparticle shows an anisotropic volume change according to a change in temperature, and can also serve as a fat-soluble/water-soluble carrier, and thus can be used as a new material for medical supplies in the field of various applications in the future.

Provided is a variable focus liquid lens using electrohydrodynamic flow of a fluid. The electrohydrodynamic liquid lens includes a housing having an annular passage therein; a first liquid occupying a portion of the passage; a second liquid occupying the rest of the passage and kept in the state of being separated from the first liquid; and a control electrode installed to be in contact with the first liquid in the passage. An interface between the first liquid and the second liquid has a curvature and plays a role as a lens. The control electrode changes the position of the interface by causing the electrohydrodynamic flow of the first liquid.

A disc to meter microvolume fluid includes: a disc-shaped body which rotates around a central shaft; an injection port adjacent to the central shaft and formed in the disc-shaped body; a distribution channel which extends from the distribution channel in a rotational direction while maintaining a predetermined distance from the central shaft, a metering vessel which extends from the distribution channel in the edge direction of the disc-shaped body, a minute valve connected to the end of the metering vessel and controls its opening and closing corresponding to the rotational angular velocity of the disc-shaped body, a waste water vessel connected to the end of the distribution channel, and an accommodation vessel connected to the minute valve and located between the distribution channel and the edge of the disc-shaped body.
