Abstract:
A DMB handover method and a system thereof are provided to enable a user to continuously watch a broadcasting program. A region identification information offering part(710) provides region identification information in which information about a region adjacent to the current region is included to a DMB terminal. A handover determining part(720) determines whether the handover is necessary or not according to the movement of the DMB terminal. A region confirming part(730) conforms the adjacent region from the received region identification information in case the handover is needed. A handover processing part(740) preferentially scans the confirmed neighboring region to process the handover.
Abstract:
A device for supplying supplementary data in real time at DMB system is provided to make a supplementary data contents with simple process. A file monitoring unit(202) extracts a specific command file by periodically monitoring whether the specific command file exists at a specific location. A command file translation part(204) detects command string of a command file by performing token analysis, and syntax inspection by interpreting the command. A workspace file management part(210) modifies the template file by contents of the detected command string, and generates workspace file including supplementary contents. A session management unit(212) outputs the supplementary contents in the workspace file while maintaining session and automatic output controller to the automatic output controller.
Abstract:
A method for providing an interactive Rich Media service associated with digital multimedia broadcasting and a service apparatus therefor are provided to offer supplementary services according to the digital multimedia broadcasting based on predetermined Rich Media service standards, thereby overcoming the unidirectional characteristic of existing broadcasting, increasing the participation of viewers, and satisfying community desire. A method for providing an interactive Rich Media service in a broadcasting receiver comprises the following steps of: receiving a digital multimedia broadcasting signal including the URL(Uniform Resource Locator) information of a broker server and displaying the URL information of the broker server on a screen(S501,S503); receiving an access command to the broker server from a user on the basis of the displaying screen(S505); requesting the broker server to provide the URL of Rich Media contents stored in a predetermined Rich Media server according to the access command, wherein the request includes the contents classification information of information about a displaying broadcasting program(S509); receiving the URL of the Rich Media contents extracted and transmitted by the broker server on the basis of the contents classification information(S511,S513); and accessing the received URL of the Rich Media contents, requesting the Rich Media server to provide the Rich Media contents, and receiving and displaying the Rich Media contents(S515,S521).
