    Abstract: The present invention relates to a proximity warning device having a proximity sensor installed in a vehicle door handle module. The proximity warning device according to the present invention includes a proximity sensor which is positioned in a vehicle door handle module and detects whether there is a nearby object, and a warning output unit which alerts a driver when the proximity sensor detects an approaching object. The proximity warning device according to the present invention alerts a driver when an object approaches the side of a vehicle by placing the proximity sensor in a vehicle door handle module, thereby effectively preventing an accident from occurring and easily repairing and replacing the proximity sensor. Also, the proximity warning device is located at a position where a driver can operate in a driver's seat, and the proximity warning device can be controlled to operate only when it is necessary if a switch which determines whether the warning output unit outputs a warning or not is installed.
