Abstract: A shock absorbing structure of a hood lock of a vehicle is provided to protect the pedestrian by absorbing impact energy with a striker and an elastic moving unit and deforming a folding part of a side member in bumping the pedestrian into the hood panel. A striker(2) is fixed to a hood panel(1) to turn a protruded part laterally in applying impact, and a latch(20) is elastically moved downward by an elastic moving unit installed in a radiator support member(10) in applying impact. A member separation unit is connected to the elastic moving unit by a connecting unit to separate the radiator support member integrally formed with a headlight supporting member(13) in moving the elastic moving unit. Side members(12) are placed at both sides of the radiator support member, and a folding part(12a) is formed in the side member and folded in receiving impact.

CONSTITUTION: A hub core(5) of a rim is integrally connected to a rod of a body by a T-shaped connector(4). A cover layer(6) is composed of a hard part(6a) and a soft part(6b), and formed in the outer periphery of the T-shaped connector and the hub core. The cover layer is covered with a wood cover(7) and a leather cover in a steering wheel of a vehicle. If the boundary of the wood cover and the leather cover is not placed on the T-shaped connector, an assembling projection(6a-1) is protruded in the end of the hard part placed in the boundary for the soft part and plural assembling sills(6a-2) are formed in the surface of the assembling projection to combine the soft part with the leather cover.
