Abstract: A process for the preparation of fiber-reinforced moldings for motor vehicles wherein the molding comprisesa) from 1 to 96.86% by weight of at least one polycondensate,b) from 1 to 12% by weight of at least one particulate graft copolymer whose soft phase has a glass transition temperature below 0° C. and whose median particle size is from 50 to 1000 nm,c) from 1 to 12% by weight of at least one copolymer made from the following monomers,c1) from 50 to 90% by weight of at least one vinylaromatic monomer, andc2) from 10 to 50% by weight of acrylonitrile and/or methacrylonitrile, based in each case on component c,d) from 0 to 20% by weight ofe) from 0.01 to 15% by weight of a polycarbonate,f) from 0.01 to 2% by weight of a carbon black,g) from 0 to 12% by weight of a polymer other than component B,h) from 0 to 20% by weight of a polyester other than component A,i) from 0.1 to 10% by weight of conventional additives, such as UV stabilizers, oxidation retarders, lubricants and mold-release agents. Moldings and composites made from these molding compositions are as described as is the use of the molding compositions, the moldings and the composites.

Abstract: A back extruded plastics molded part is back extruded from a plastics back extruded foil of thickness 0.5-10 mm and from a fiber reinforced plastics material of fiber content 5-30 wt.%. The back extruded material has a thickness of 1.5-4.5 mm is new. An Independent claim is also included for a preparation of a plastics molded part by back extrusion through an adapter or extrusion nozzle of a substrate (1), and/or an intermediate layer (2), and/or a transparent top layer(3), where the whole composite is prepared in a single stage process. the back extruded foil is heat formed in a forming tool, and the back extruded foil is back extruded with fiber reinforced material, with addition of the fibers directly during processing, so that their length in the finished product exceeds 1 mm.

Abstract: The invention relates to a moulding material containing the following in relation to the sum of the components (A) to (G), which is 100 wt. % overall: a) 1 to 97.89 wt. % of a moulding material of at least one polycondensates with a viscosity number of 70 to 160 as component (A); b) 1 to 10 wt. % of at least one particulate graft copolymer with a glass transition temperature in the soft phase of less than 0 DEG C and an average particle size of 50 to 1000 nm as component (B); c) 1 to 10 wt. % of at least one copolymer as component (C), consisting of the following monomers: c1) 50 to 90 wt. % of at least one vinylaromatic monomer as component (C1) and c2) 10 to 50 wt. % acrylonitrile and/or methacrylonitrile as component (C2), in relation to component (C) respectively; d) 0 to 15 wt. % of a polycarbonate as component (D); e) 0.01 to 15 wt. % of a different polymer to component (B) as component (E), f) 0 to 20 wt. % of a different polyester to component (A) as component (F) and g) 0.1 to 10 wt. % usual additives such as carbon black, UV-stabilisers, antioxidants, lubricants and mould release agents as component (G). The invention also relates to moulded parts and composites and to the use of the moulding materials, moulded parts and composites.

The moulding materials are characterised in that they contain G) at least one low molecular halogen-free acid and also, optionally, H) at least one polyalkylacrylate. The invention also relates to moulded parts, films or fibres, and especially external vehicle body parts produced from the moulding materials.
