Abstract:
The present invention relates to compositions containing polymeric, ionic compounds comprising imidazolium groups. In particular, it relates to the use of polymeric, ionic compounds comprising imidazolium groups in personal care compositions and/or in biocide compositions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to associative polyurethane thickeners which comprise hyperbranched polymers in polymerized-in form, to the preparation of these thickeners, and to the use thereof, particularly in cosmetic preparations.
Abstract:
The invention relates to branched polyesters with sulfonate groups. The polyesters can be obtained by reacting the components A, B, optionally C, and optionally D into branched polyesters, wherein the component A is selected from the group consisting of α,β-olefinically unsaturated dicarboxylic acids, the component B is selected from the group consisting of di- or higher-functional alcohols, the optional component C is selected from the group consisting of di- or higher-functional carboxylic acids and hydroxy carboxylic acids without α,β-olefinically unsaturated bonds, and the optional component D is selected from the compounds of formula CH 3 (-O-CH 2 -CH 2 ) n -OH, with the proviso that if only di-functional alcohols are selected as component B, the component C is present during the reaction and is selected from the group of the tri- or higher-functional carboxylic acids and the tri- or higher-functional hydroxy carboxylic acids without α,β-olefinically unsaturated bonds. The obtained branched polyesters are subsequently reacted with hydrogen sulfite, the molar quantity of hydrogen sulfite being at most 95 mol% with respect to the quantity of α,β-olefinically unsaturated dicarboxylic acids.
Abstract:
The invention relates to multilayer materials for producing packaging comprising at least two films and also a layer which is printed with a packaging printing ink, said packaging printing ink comprising a certain hyperbranched polyester containing functional groups. The invention further relates to a packaging printing ink which comprises a certain hyperbranched polyester containing functional groups, and to the use of said printing ink for producing multilayer materials.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for solubilizing hydrophobic active ingredients in an aqueous medium, characterized in that at least one hyperbranched polymer (A) is used as an auxiliary agent and can be obtained by reacting at least one hyperbranched polymer compound with at least one primary or secondary amino group per molecule (a), selected from (a1) hyperbranched polyamides and (a2) hyperbranched polyureas, having (b) at least one mono-, di-, or oligosaccharide.
