Estos compuestos oxadiazoles sustituidos son utiles en la agricultura, para controlar hongos fitopatogenos daninos; en donde, el proceso comprende tratar los hongos o los materiales, las plantas, el suelo o las semillas que se desean proteger del ataque fungico con una cantidad eficaz del compuesto, o con mezclas que comprendan al menos uno de estos compuestos y al menos una sustancia activa plaguicida adicional seleccionada del grupo que consiste en herbicidas, protectores, fungicidas, insecticidas y reguladores del crecimiento de la planta.
