    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable high-density recording by detecting the direction of magnetization of an information magnetic domain recorded on an information track and changing over and controlling the direction of the magnetic field of a magnetic-field applying means on the basis of a detection result. CONSTITUTION:The upper section of an information track is irradiated with a light spot using the light intensity of a semiconductor laser 7 as recording power. A bias magnetic field modulated in response to recording information is applied simultaneously from a magnetic head 1, and an information magnetic domain is formed onto the information track. The light intensity of the semiconductor laser 7 is lowered to reproduction power in the reproduction of information, and the light spot of luminous flux for reproduction is scanned on the information track. On the other hand, the magnetic head 1 generates a magnetic field H weaker than that at the time of recording, and the magnetic field H is applied to the information track. The magnetic field for reproduction is controlled so as to be directed in the same direction as the direction of magnetization of the information magnetic domain, moves the domain wall of the information magnetic domain and functions to increase the magnitude of the magnetic domain. Accordingly, a reproduction density limit can be relaxed, thus further augmenting the recording density of a recording medium.

The photoelectric converting photodetectors of the respective elements are so formed that the centers of the image forming spots align to the center of the effective photodetecting surface thereof. The optical information reproducing device having the small-sized optical head having the high edge detecting function and the high efficiency of utilizing the light quantity is obtd. in this way.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the readout speed of information higher without necessitating mechanical rotation by reproducing the information recorded by the oriented state of the liquid crystal molecule of a high polymer liquid crystal layer only by optical and electric processing. CONSTITUTION:Polarizing beam splitters 8 and 9 are arranged in a state where incident surfaces mutually form the angle of 45 deg. around an optical axis with respect to reflected light from a recording medium 6, and transmit or reflect the reflected light from the recording medium with the respective polarizing characteristics so that the light beams are respectively received by photodetectors 11-14. The light receiving signals of the photodetectors 11-14 are inputted in the respective input terminals of subtraction circuits 15 and 16, and the circuits 15 and 16 output a difference between the inputted signals. The phases of the output of the circuits 15 and 16 are shifted by 45 deg.. Based on the output, a reproducing signal corresponding to the oriented state of the liquid crystal molecule is generated. Thus, the information is reproduced at a high speed without necessitating the mechanical rotation.

CONSTITUTION:The relation between wavelengths lambda1 and lambda2 of a semiconductor laser 2 to generate the light flux of the wavelength lambda1 and of a semiconductor laser 3 to generate the light flux of the wavelength lambda2 is lambda1>lambda2. The reflected light beams of first and second light spots 13 and 14, with which the surface of information tracks is irradiated, are passed through an objective lens 8 again, made incident to a beam splitter 7 and guided to the side of a condenser lens 9 by the splitting operation. Further, the light beam is condensed by the condenser lens 9, made incident to a dichroic beam splitter 10 and splitted to the light flux of the wavelength lambda1 and the light flux of the wavelength lambda2. The light flux of the wavelength lambda1 is passed through an analyzer 17 and photodetected by a photodetector 11, and the light flux of the wavelength lambda2 is passed through an analyzer 18 and photodetected by a photodetector 12. Then, a regenerative signal is generated by a reproducing circuit. Thus, the reliability of the recorded data is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce cost and to employ a small-sized motor by transmitting an output to a preparating mechanism by a motor's rotation in a 1st direction and an output to a film winding/rewinding drive mechanism by the rotation in a 2nd direction and limiting an output to one direction by the rotation in the 2nd direction. CONSTITUTION:Owing to the clockwise operation of a motor M1, a planetary gear 28 is permitted to revolve in the direction in which it meshes with a transmission gear 32, and film is wound. On the other hand, a 1st regulating part 170b inhibits a planetary gear 106 from revolving in the direction in which it meshes with a rewinding gear 110 (the center axis 106a of the planetary gear 106 abuts on the 1st regulating part 170b in the middle of revolution), whereby film rewinding is inhibited. However, the planetary gear 106 is not influenced by the 1st regulating part 170b when the motor M1 rotates counterclockwise; therefore the gear 106 can revolve in the direction in which it meshes with a transmission gear 120, and consequently a mirror is driven and charged. Since one motor can drive three mechanisms in such a way, its cost is reduced, and the title camera can employ a small-sized motor.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To minimize cost by giving a flag for automatic loading to a memory and providing a one-shot circuit which turns on a power source by opening and closing the rear cap of a camera. CONSTITUTION:The title camera is provided with the readable/writable memory having the flag for controlling automatic loading and the one-shot circuit OS which turns on a power source in a given length of time after the rear cap of the camera is closed. When the one-shot circuit OS turns on a power source, automatic loading is switched on/off to correspond with the state of the flag. Therefore, only the one-shot circuit OS is additionally provided. It can be incorporated into an interface circuit or a main microcomputer, and it can employ a small-sized general-purpose IC. Thus, a rise in costs can be minimized.
