    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair-dressing film-forming resin having a low stickiness, excellent hair dressing effect and removal upon shampooing by using a copolymer comprising four specified acrylic monomers and a crosslinking vinyl monomer. SOLUTION: This preparation contains as the film-forming resin a copolymer comprising 30-80mol% (meth)acrylamide monomer represented by formula I (wherein R is H or methyl; R and R are each H or a 4-12C alkyl), 2-50mol% (meth)acrylamide monomer represented by formula II (wherein R and R are each H or a 1-3C alkyl), 0.0001-50mol% (meth)acrylic acid represented by formula III (wherein R is a 2 or 3C alkylene; R and R are each methyl or ethyl; R is a 1-22C alkyl or a phenyl; R is methyl or ethyl; a is 0 or 1; b is 2 or 3; c is 2-10,000; and X is a counter ion of a quat. ammonium salt), 0-40mol% (meth)acrylic ester monomer represented by formula IV and 0-20mol% crosslinking vinyl monomer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compound good in solubility and dispersibility in water, ethanol, etc., and useful as an additive for perfumeries or cosmetics from a raw material having a high safety by reacting an organopolysiloxane with a chain end reactive poly(N-trimethyleneimine). CONSTITUTION: This method for producing an organopolysiloxane comprises reacting an organopolysiloxane of formula I [R is a 1-5C saturated alkyl or a (substituted) phenyl; R is the formula -(CH2 )3 -NH2 , formula II, etc.; R , R have same meaning as R , R respectively; (p) is 5-4000; (q) is 1-300] with a chain end reactive poly(N-trimethyleneimine) obtained by the ring opening polymerization of N-substituted azetidine of formula III (R1 is H, a 1-22C alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an aralkyl, aryl, etc.), to obtain the objective compound having (99/1)-(30/70) weight ratio of organopolysiloxane segments consisting of linking a poly(N-trimethyleneimine) segment consisting of a repeating unit of formula IV through a linking group containing a hetero atom to at least one of Si atom of the organopolysiloxane segment and the poly(N-trimethyleneimine) segments, and having 800-800000 weight-average molecular weight.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an antimicrobial composition containing water insoluble antimicrobial grains, a neutralized product of polyurethane urea polyamine, and a surfactant, having good dispersion stability and storage stability, having food feeling in use and useful for shampoo, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition containing water insoluble antimicrobial grains (e.g. those of 2-mercaptopyridine-N-oxide polyvalent metal salt), a neutralized product of polyurethane urea polyamine, and surfactant (e.g. anion surfactant, amphoteric surfactant or nonionic surfactant). The dispersion system of the composition can be more stabilized by further blending a water soluble high polymer (e.g. starch derivative or cellulose derivative) therewith. The neutralized product of polyurethane urea polyamine is preferably a neutralized product by reacting an urethane prepolymer obtained by a reaction between a polyhydroxyl compound and a polyfunctional isocyanate with a polyalkylene polyamine.
