    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a foamed heat insulation material having excellent heat insulation performances by adding a carbonate synthesis catalyst coated with a resin film and a carbonate compound prepared by reacting an epoxide compound with carbon dioxide to a resin composition having closed cells filled with a volatile blowing agent and containing at least urethane bonds and urea bonds. SOLUTION: The volatile blowing agent used is exemplified by cyclopentane. The carbonate synthesis catalyst used is one prepared by previously coating a powder of a nucleophilic compound (e.g. tetraalkylammonium halide) with a resin film (e.g. ethyl cellulose film). The epoxide compound used has a viscosity of 1,000 Pa.s or below at 25 deg.C and is exemplified by ethyl glycidyl ether. A heat insulation material 4 comprises a resin skeleton 5 comprising urethane bonds, urea bonds and a carbonate compound and closed cells containing a synthesis catalyst 7.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness of a dwelling house wall so as to improve construction efficiency and heighten heat insulating performance of the whole heat insulating panel by covering plural vacuum heat insulating materials with an urethan resin composite which has a specified closed cell rate, and in which gas in a cell of the closed cell is carbon dioxide. SOLUTION: An urethane resin composition is foamed and filled in a space part formed by a face material 4 and a frame material 6 having a longitudinal material 7 to be taken as a first layer. Subsequently, plural vacuum heat insulators 3 are arranged on the first layer of urethane resin composition, urethane resin composition for the second layer is foamed and filled, and a face material 5 is also foamed in a body to manufacture a heat insulating panel 1. A foam heat insulating material 2 takes carbon dioxide generated by interaction of isocyanate and water as a foaming agent, and the foam heat insulating material 2 formed of foamed urethane resin composition has a closed cell percentage of 40-80% by an emulsifler. As the heat insulating panel 1 jointly uses the foam heat insulating material and the vacuum heat insulating material 3, it has excellent heat insulating performance, so that the wall thickness of the heat insulating panel 1 can be reduced so as to remarkably improve construction efficiency.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat insulation properties while taking in consideration the reduction of a burden to global environment by forming a foam heat insulating material from an expanded polyurethane resin composition having closed cell filled with a volatile compound, and containing a bubble fining agent at least inside the independent cells at partial pressure lower than the volatile compound. SOLUTION: Two components of a premixed component A in which polyole, a foaming agent, a catalyst, a reactive foaming agent, a volatile foaming agent and a bubble fining agent are previously mixed with each other, and a component B consisting of polyisocyanate, are mixed with each other and agitated by a high pressure foaming machine. Then, an ABS resin-made surface bar 2 and a steel plate-made surface bar 3 are foamed and filled in a space part formed through a flange part 4, so that a heat insulating case body 1 is molded. Here, the bubble fining agent is a volatile compound having reaction to lower the diameters of the closed cell composing the foam heat insulating agent 5 of the heat insulating case body 1. Hereby, the diameters of the bubbles of the foam heat insulating agent are fined and foam insulation properties can be improved while taking in consideration the reduction of a burden to global environment.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a foamed product which reduces the load to the global environment with excellent thermal insulation. CONSTITUTION: A thermally insulating foamed product in which the pores are substantially filled with the vapor of a volatile foaming agent and the partial pressure of the vapor is higher that 5mmHg at 25 deg.C is obtained through the mixing and foaming process whereby the polyurethane starting substances containing a reactive foaming agent, a volatile foaming agent with a molecular weight of 70 or more, boiling at 150 deg.C or lower, an epoxy compound, and a carbon dioxide-fixing catalyst are mixed and foamed to form a foamed polyurethane having closed cells containing carbon dioxide liberated by reaction of the reactive foaming agent with polyisocyanate and the volatile foaming agent, and the following process whereby the carbon dioxide adds to the epoxy groups in the epoxy compound in the presence of a carbon dioxide-fixing catalyst to form a solid or liquid cyclic carbonate.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent THE shrinkage of a foam and keep an appearance.quality for a long term by a method wherein a rigid urethane foam loaded with a cyclopentane as a component of a foaming agent and water as an adjuvant foaming agent is foamed to be loaded between an inner box made of a high- nitrile resin composition and a metallic outer box. CONSTITUTION:A graft copolymer and a coplymer are obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture of 30-50wt.% vinyl cyanide compound and 50-70wt.% aromatic vinyl compound in the presence of a conjugated diene synthetic rubber. A high-nitrile resin composition mixed with an acrylate rubber having 2-4C alkyl is molded into an inner box 6. The inner box 6 is coated with the coplymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture of 30-50wt.% vinyl cyanide compound and 50-70wt.% aromatic vinyl compound. A rigid urethane foam 5 loaded with a cyclopentane as a foaming agent and 1 part or more water as an adjuvant foaming agent is foamed to be loaded between the inner box 6 and a metallic outer box 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an expanded thermal insulating material involving no problem such as decline in its physical properties for a long time and metal corrosion, also no problem in ozonosphere disruption, useful for refrigenerators, etc., by using an organic polyisocyanate, a foam stabilizer and a specific organic amine as catalytic components. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of (A) a polyol component containing >=50wt.% of a polyether polyol 300-500mgKOH/g in hydroxyl value prepared by addition polymerization of an alkylene oxide to an aromatic diamine, (B) an organic polyisocyanate, (C) a foam stabilizer, (D) a catalytic component containing, as at least one component, an organic amine catalyst blocked with a lower carboxylic acid in advance, and (E) a foaming agent containing 1,1-dichloro- fluoroethane as a component, is agitated to effect expansion, thus obtaining the objective thermal insulating material. As an additional component to this mixture, an additive having reactive chlorine group of 0.01-5 times equivatent to the amino group in the component D and boiling at 100-200 deg.C is preferably used.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a foamed heat insulation material and box used in a refrigerator, a freezer or the like, having fine and uniform cells, low thermal conductivity and assured product quality and being free from the problem of ozonosphere depletion by adding a small amount of a perfluoroalkane even when an aliphatic or cyclic hydrocarbon of a high thermal conductivity is used as the blowing agent. CONSTITUTION:A foamed heat insulation material is produced by mixing under agitation an organic polyisocyanate with a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, a blowing agent at least partially consisting of an aliphatic or cyclic hydrocarbon of a boiling point of 80 deg.C, a polyol and 0.1-5 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. polyol, 4-7C perfluoroalkane and foaming the resulting mixture. A heat-insulated box is made by packing the heat-insulation material between the inner box and the outer box.
