    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the effective working area of electrodes and to suppress the concentration of currents so as to prevent the deterioration of an ion exchange membrane by providing the surface side in contact with the ion exchange membrane of the gas generating electrode of a positive electrode press welded onto the ion exchange membrane with a surface treating resin film. SOLUTION: The one side of the hydrogen ion conduction type ion exchange membrane 7 is provided with the positive electrode 1 consisting of the gas generating electrode and a feeding body 10 and the other side is provided with a negative electrode 5 having a gas diffusing electrode 18 and a feeding body 11. The ion exchange water is supplied as an electrolyte to the anode chamber and is electrolyzed to generate ozone. The generated hydrogen ions are oxidized by air in the cathode chamber to form water. The gas generating electrode of the electrolytic water producing device described above is constituted by forming a substrate surface layer 16 contg. β type PbO2 of an ozone selective catalyst via a multi component metal oxide ground surface layer 34 on a porous titanium substrate 15. The surface treating resin film 17 consisting of the resin material of the same system as the system of the ion exchange membrane is formed only on the tight contact surface of the layer with the ion exchange membrane 7 to prevent the degradation in a rate of ozone generation.

CONSTITUTION: The refrigerator comprises a vegetable vessel 11 opened at its top surface and contained in the vegetable chamber 21, a cover 22 having an opening and so provided in a close contact as to cover the top surface of the vessel 11, and moisture permeable films 24, 25 provided in the opening of the cover 22. The moisture permeability of the film 24 provided at the cold gas intake port side (at the rear side of the vessel 11) of the chamber 21 is made higher than that of the film 25 provided at the cold gas return port side (at the door side of the chamber 21) of the chamber 21 to prevent the vapor condensation of the cold gas intake port side in the vessel 11 and the cold gas return port side is held at the high humidity to prevent drying of the vegetables.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make tasteless, odorless and transparent ice by a method wherein an ice-making tray is swang during ice-making to vibrate the freezing surface and water surface and water is supplied in parts two or more times to carry out repeated ice-making. CONSTITUTION:In an ice-making step, cold air cooled at a cooler by a fan passes through an air passage under an ice-making tray 13 to cool the ice- making tray 13 from the bottom. The ice-making tray 13 is covered with an heat-insulating material 29 and heated by heating elements of a side wall heater and a partition heater so that the water surface side is hard to come in contact with the cold air and is kept at higher temperatures. Swing action and water stream flowing into the ice-making tray 13 through notch grooves 48 in central partitions 47 of the ice-making tray 13 that are arranged in the swing axle direction cause the freezing surface and water surface to move in waves, resulting in a delay in ice-forming. Therefore, ice gradually forms from the bottom side of the ice-making tray 13 and on the water surface side finally. Thereby, tasteless, odorless and transparent ice can be produced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of ozone by composing a device of a pressing plate having equivalent elasticity to rubber which is easily degraded by ozone and a spring switch which is reset naturally, and using the tensile elasticity of the pressing plate to install the spring switch under the input condition. CONSTITUTION:A device is composed of a pressing plate 16 having equivalent elasticity to rubber which is easily degraded by ozone and a spring switch 17 which is reset naturally, and the tensile elasticity of the pressing plate 16 is used to install the spring switch under the input condition. When ozone is mixed in the atmosphere where a fuse is located, the pressing plate is degraded by the ozone to generate the crazing, but the pressing plate 16 is broken because of the tensile elastic force applied thereto, and the spring switch 17 pressed with the pressing plate 16 and left under the input condition is reset naturally to be under the open condition. Namely, when the ozone is leaked, a fuse 18 detects the ozone to stop an ozone type deodorizer by connecting the spring switch 17 to an input power source of the ozone type deodorizer. Leakage of the ozone at high density can be thereby prevented to improve the safety.

CONSTITUTION:By mounting a garbage bag, laying down a flange duct 6, and closing and outer cover 8, a communicating port 24 is connected to a vent passage 22 and the rib of the flange duct 6 is pressed against the edge part of the bag into contact with the end part 26 of an inner box 3 to shut it closely. In this condition, the gas in the inner box 3 enters a hollow part 5 through the suction groove 4 of the flange duct 6 positioned on the inner circumference of an opening part 2, and enters an ozonizer 16 and catalyzer 17 through the connecting port 24 and the vent passage 22, by actuation of a ventilating fan 18. Hereat, the gas is deodorized due to deodorizing function of ozone and catalyzer, and exhausted. By this constitution, the garbage is deodorized for a long time.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a deodorizing effect and durability so as to eliminate the necessity for maintenance by circulating ozone, generated in an ozonizer, in a storage house by an electrically driven fan, when an opening and closing cover is closed, and discharging air in the storage house to its outside through an ozone dissolving catalyst from the second opening part when the cover is opened. CONSTITUTION:Garbage, when placed in an inner case 9, is detected by a pressure sensor 21, and the first electrically driven fan 14 and an ozonizer 13 begin to operate. Here the first electrically driven fan 14 forms circulating air of ozone passing through a screen 23 from the inside of a storage house 6 and being irradiated to the garbage in the inner case 9 from a blow port 25 from the ozonizer 13. Next, when an opening and closing cover 3 is opened, operation of the first electrically driven fan 14 and the ozonizer 13 is stopped, when the second electrically driven fan 18 is operated, surplus ozone and air, mixing residual bad smell, in the storage house 6 are discharged to the outside of the house, passing through an ozone dissolving catalyst 17, concurrently serving for deodorization, and a screen 23'. Since the ozone dissolving catalyst 17 is formed by titanium oxide, providing a deodorizing effect, and a manganese oxide, having ability of dissolving ozone into oxygen and oxygen radical, even the surplus ozone and residual bad smell are dissolved and adsorbed.

CONSTITUTION:The electrolyte 3 which is a physiological salt soln. is put into the cleaning tank 4 and an upper cap 16 which is integrated with the partition wall 18 stuck with an ion exchange membrane 17 is set to a prescribed position. The lens 2 is put on a negative electrode 6 side and a 1st switch 7 is turned on. Gaseous hydrogen is generated from the surface of the electrode 6 and the alkaline liquid is formed. This alkaline liquid induces an ion reaction with the free fatty acid in the sebum sticking to the surface of the lens 2 and forms a cation surfactant, thus capable of emulsifying and dispersing the remaining neutral fats and oils. A 2nd switch 19 is turned on to effect the electrolysis of the salt soln. 15 in the electrolyzing chamber 10 and the formed gaseous chlorine is introduced through an introducing pipe 11 by an electromagnetic pump 13 into the tank 4. The gaseous chlorine dissolves in the alkaline soln. and generates hypochlorite to play the role of assisting the cleaning.

By permitting the DC current to flow in the electrolyte 3 via the electrodes 10 and 11, the electrolysis of the electrolyte 3 occurs, and liquid at the electrode 10 side goes to the alkali liquid for the partition 9, and the liquid at the electrode 11 side goes to the acid liquid. Grease or protein, etc., attached on the surface of the contact lens 2 is removed by the solving function of the alkali liquid, and furthermore, effective washing can be performed by the force of the cavitation of an ultrasonic wave by an ultrasonic vibrator.

The anode bar 20 is obtd. by plating a clad bar having a titanium layer 41 on the surface of copper or the like 40 with platinum 42, forming a coating layer 44 of soluble copper on the resulting core and coating the layer 44 with a masking tape 47. The inside of the tube 18 is degreased and washed, a plating soln. is circulated through the tube 18 and electric current is supplied between the anode bar 20 and the tube 18 to carry out electroplating. High-speed plating can be carried out on the surface of the inner wall of the long-sized tube 18 to a uniform thickness.
