    Abstract: PURPOSE:To move a shelf and a frame and prevent foreign matters from entering rails by a method wherein plain gears provided on both sides of a frame are simultaneously rotated by a driving device installed on the frame to move racks up and down, and the borders of compartment shelf rails mounted on the frame are raised. CONSTITUTION:When a shelf 1 is moved up or down, a dial 6 is turned to rotate a dial shaft 7 and driving gear 8. A driven gear 9 engaging with the driving gear 8 is rotated, causing a gear shaft 4 and plain gears 5 on both side to be rotated. At this time, although the plain gears 5 on both right and left sides are moved by the gear shaft 4 while they engage with racks 14b on the front side of rails 14, the plain gears 5 are identically rotated as they are fixed on the gear shaft 4. As a result, the frame 2, that is, the shelf 1 is evenly moved up or down without a tilt to the right or left side. And, a flange of the shelf 1 is raised along the borders of the rails 14, so that spilled foods is prevented from entering guide surfaces 14a of the rails 14 and the rack surfaces 14b when food is tilted and spilled on the shelf 1.

CONSTITUTION:The side walls of an heat insulating partitioning wall 11, inserted into a partitioning section 5 between a freezing chamber 3 and a refrigerating chamber 4, are provided with a groove 12 from the fore part toward the rear part of the same. According to this method, expandable heat insulating material 9 may be guided actively to the sides of the heat insulating partitioning wall 11.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make complete transparent ice without using excessive parts by forming the bottom face of each single ice making chamber of a porous plastic film. CONSTITUTION:The outer circumferential face of single ice making chambers 2' of an ice tray 1' is formed of thermoplastic resin 2a' and its bottom face a porous film 2b'. In the porous film 2b', a molecular interval is 10-10 Angstrom and the liquid in which an ordinary molecular interval is 10 or more is shut out, but has gas permeability. When transparent ice is made from the upper part thereof at an ice making speed of 3-4mm/hrs, the air contained in water is pushed away downward, can be released from the porous film 2b' finally, the constitution for making transparent ice is simple and the ice is good ice separation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable ices to be grown from surfaces of an ice tray, shorten an ice making time than that of ice making at one surface and further to enable transparent ice to be made by a method wherein a bottom surface of each ice making compartment with its upper surface being opened and at least one or more side surfaces are made of porous plastic film. CONSTITUTION:An ice tray 4 is constructed such that porous plastic film 9 is arranged at side surfaces 7 and 8 including bottom surfaces 6 of ice making compartments 5. With such a configuration, in case of making ice, water is cooled by a left side surface 7, a bottom surface 6, and a right side surface 8 of porous plastic film 9. While ice is made at an ice making speed of 3 to 4mm/hour, air is pushed upwardly to form a transparent ice. Further, ice is made simultaneously from three surfaces of a left side surface, the bottom surface 6 and a right side surface 8 of each of the ice making compartments 5, and so an ice making time can be substantially shortened as compared with that of making ice at one surface.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent leakage of heat insulating material while enhancing the workability of aluminum foil pasting work by providing a rib of same height as a U-groove in a door cover at the rear root thereof on the foamable polyurethane side at the time of pasting an aluminum foil. CONSTITUTION: A rib 22 of same height as a U-groove 20 in a cover 6 is provided at the rear root thereof on the foamable polyurethane heat insulating material 10 side. Since the pressure can be reduced by avoiding one end of the foamable polyurethane heat insulating material 10 to be filled by means of the rib 22, the polyurethane heat insulating material 10 can not intrude easily into the gap at a door frame 8. Since the recess 20 and the rib 22 are arranged on a same line, apparent linear part is increased and fluctuation is suppressed in the pasting of aluminum foil. According to the structure, heat insulating material can be prevented from being leaked at the time of making the door of refrigerator while enhancing the workability of aluminum foil pasting work.
