Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a water repellent characteristic of a formed coating film and make it rigid by a method wherein the unit structure of a water repellent coating composition is a specified three-dimensional structure and the composition is composed of silicone resin with specified R/Si ratio, organic solvent and non-organic fine particles. CONSTITUTION:The unit structure of water repellent coating composition a three-dimensional structure composed of (A) and (B) elements in an equation (1). It is composed of solution having silicone resin with R/Si ratio of 1.2 or more and 1.7 or lower, organic solvent and non-organic fine particles subjected to hydrophobic nature treatment. The surface of substrate coated with the water repellent coating composition having this configuration has an effect of water repellent of the silicone resin and has a small contact area between the surface and water droplets due to the fine irregular surface formed by non-organic fine particles and the water repellent characteristic is remarkably improved and at the same time it shows a superior machining characteristic.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of stagnation of paint and prevent the cracking cf a coated film after drying and setting by providing fine grooves near the heat transfer tube penetrating hole of a fin. CONSTITUTION:Heat transfer tube penetrating holes are bored on a plate fin 1 and fin collars 2 are raised up from the fin 1 with an equal interval while the heat transfer tubes 3 are fixed to the plate fin 1 by expanding the tubes after penetration to contact the pipes with the fins closely and the plate fin 1 is provided with fine grooves 7 near the heat transfer tube penetrating holes. Accordingly, coating 8 is stagnated once in the upper part of the heat transfer tubes of a heat exchanger, dipped into functional coating to coat it and pulled up from a dip tank, while excessive coating 9 flows along the fine grooves 7 near the heat transfer tube penetrating holes and arrives at the end face of the fin, then, drops down by the gravity of the same. According to this method, excessive coating on the surface of the fin will never be stagnated at the lower part of the heat transfer tubes and the generation of cracking of a coating film is eliminated after the coating is dried and set whereby the corrosion of a heat exchanger may be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the lumps of paints in the lower sections of fins and the cracking of films by forming inserting holes for heat-transfer tubes and grooves obliquely shaped to the lower end sections of the fins in the lower sections of the fins. CONSTITUTION:Inserting holes 17 for heat-transfer tubes and grooves 12 obliquely shaped to a lower end section 14 in the lower section of a fin are formed to the fin. Excess paints 15 on the fin pulled up from a dipping tank are transmitted on the surface of the fin and flow to the lower section 13 of the fin, and are transmitted in the groove 12 and are collected to the lower end section 14 of the fin. Since paints 15 collected at one point fall by their own weight, no liquid mass of paints is generated in the lower section of the fin. Accordingly, the generation of the cracking of a film from the lump of the film generated in the lower end section of the fin and the generation of the corrosion, etc., of the fin can be prevented even through drying and baking.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To delay blockading due to the layer of frost and eliminate the deterioration of heating capacity when heating operation is reopened after defrosting by employing a water repellent fin member, with fine grooves, as a plate fin. CONSTITUTION:The main body of a heat exchanger is constituted by a method wherein a heat transfer tube penetrating hole is bored on a plate type fin 5 made of aluminum, on which a water repellent film 6 is applied on the surface thereof and fine grooves 7 are formed, fin collars 2 are established with equal intervals to penetrate a heat transfer tube 3 made of copper and, thereafter, the tube 3 is fixed and adhered to the plate type fin 5 by means of expanding or the like. Ethylene tetrafluoride resin coating having the pure water contact angle of 110 deg., for example, is used as the water repellent film. Either one of water repellent coatings such as the copolymer resin coating of ethylene tetrafluoride and propylene hexafluoride, silicon resin coating and the like or water repellent surface treatment coated with fatty acid such as stearic acid, lauric acid and the like may be employed as a water repellent surface treatment material. The width and the depth of the fine grooves are not specified especially but the effect of capillary phenomenon is higher when the grooves are provided with more acute angle.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve hydrophilic nature, resistance to corrosion and molding properties by a method wherein a double layered film consisting of an inner layer consisting of a hydrophobic organic film, and a hydrophilic surface layer, formed on the inner layer and produced by plasma polymerization, is provided on the surface of a metal. CONSTITUTION:A film, produced by various organic compounds having no hydrophilic base, is employed for the inner layer or a fin member while silicon resin coating, fluorine plastics coating, olefin resin coating and the like, for example, is used for the film. The plasma polymerization layer of hydrophilic organic compound is formed on the hydrophobic film. Organic amine compound, such as n-bwtylamine isopropylamine and the like for example, is employed for hydrophilic organic compound. Hydrophilic nature, sufficient for the material of fins for a heat exchanger, may be provided by the surface layer or the plasma polymerization layer of the hydrophilic organic compound of the surface layer while the hydrophobic film or the inner layer developes the effect of an anticorrosion layer whereby the material is hydrophilic, prominent in resis tance to corrosion and containing no hard substance whereby there is no prob lem in the molding properties of the fins.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the heat conduction quantity to the compressed gas in a cylinder and improve the compression efficiency by arranging heat insulating plates between bearings supporting the shaft of a rotor eccentrically rotatably stored in the cylinder of an enclosed type compressor and the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A roller 6 stored in the cylinder 7 of a compressor section via a shaft 5 fixed to a rotor 4 is eccentrically rotated by the drive of a motor constituted of a stator 3 and the rotor 4 stored in an enclosed shell 2 in an enclosed type compressor used for an air conditioner or the like. The gas to be compressed sucked through an intake pipe 10 is compressed and discharged through a discharge pipe. In this case, heat insulating plates 11 and 12 made of a stainless plate or the like are inserted between the main and auxiliary bearings 8 and 9 supporting the shaft 5 and the cylinder 7 respectively. The heat conduction quantity to the compressed gas in the cylinder 7 is thereby reduced, the pressure increase to the compressed gas is prevented, the compression efficiency is improved.
