    Abstract: A printing apparatus in which metered amounts of an ink and a diluting solution are mixed and the resulting mixed liquid is ejected to a recording medium for printing.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect dropping of a semiconductor device, to obtain number of optical axes of a photosensor and to dispose the optical axis at a suitable position by refracting the optical axis of a light from a light emitting unit by a prism. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting unit 22 fixed to an upper surface of a lower die molder 42 emits a light in the same direction as a conveying direction A. A prism 34 provided at a front end of a feed plate 30 refracts the light at 180 deg., and directs it in an opposite direction to the direction A. Thus, an optical axis 24 is suitably disposed to be fed between an upper surface of a lower mold 40 and a lower surface of a semiconductor device 10 conveyed normally, again refracted at 180' by a prism 34 opposed to a light receiving surface of a photoreceiver 26 to reach the photoreceiver 26. A lead frame for supporting the device 10 is slid via a sliding groove 32 to be conveyed. When the plate 30 is disposed upward, a pin to be reciprocated is conveyed at each predetermined pitch. Whether a plurality of the devices 10 arranged along a conveying direction to be sequentially conveyed shut off the light of the axis 24 or not is detected to sense an abnormal state such as dropping, etc., of the device 10.
