PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device in which connection to a battery and a control substrate is simplified and downsizing and improvement of battery characteristics are realized, and provide a connecting method of the battery and the substrate. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a battery 2 which has a battery element 21 laminated between a positive electrode 23 and a negative electrode 24 via a separator 26, and in which reed terminals 27, 28 are drawn out from respective positive electrode 23 and negative electrode 24, the substrate 31, and the control substrate 3 which has a control element 32 that is surface mounted on the substrate 31 by at least one, and which controls an electric current against the battery 2. At least one of the reed terminals 27, 28 which are drawn out from the positive electrode 23 and the negative electrode 24 is directly connected to one control element 32. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an object made of a conductive metal, e.g. a key holder, a necklace, or a chain, from being brought into contact with output terminals to cause a short circuit by arranging the tubular output terminals in the first and second holes formed on the bottom faces of the first and second recesses provided at the corner section of the front face in the fitting direction of a case to an apparatus. SOLUTION: A recess 80 is formed near the corner of a bottom face 16-3 at the front end section 16-1 of a bottom case 16, and the first and second tubular electrodes 36 of a set battery are arranged on the bottom face of the recess 80. A nearly circular hole 84 is formed on the bottom face of the recess 80, and the first electrode 36 is arranged along the fitting direction of a battery pack in the hole 84. The structure of the second electrode arranged in the other near circular hole formed on the bottom face of the other recess is made the same as the structure of the first electrode 36. An object made of a conductive metal, e.g. a key holder, a necklace, or a chain, can be prevented from being brought into contact with two output terminals 36.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a variety of information to electronic equipment at saved power consumption using a slow-processing microcomputer. SOLUTION: A CPU 31 collects detection data about a thermistor 62, the terminal voltage of a battery, discharge current, and the like every 10 minutes through respective interfaces 38, 37, 36, calculates the residual and total capacities of the battery, stores the calculation results and the collected data in RAM 33 as transmit data, and transmits the stored transmit data at 1 minute intervals to electronic equipment from a communications interface 39. Since the CPU 31 merely transmits the data unilaterally and independently of the operation of an electronic-equipment CPU, the operating clock of the CPU 31 can be reduced significantly, and the power consumed by the CPU 31 can also be reduced significantly.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily sense the battery pack adaptability to any charger by furnishing a sensing hole on the bottom surface of a battery pack along its center line. CONSTITUTION:On the bottom case 16 of a battery pack, recesses 102, 104, 108, 112 are provided along the center line X-X and also a recess 106 stretching laterally. The recesses 102, 104, 106 serve as sensing hole while the ones 108, 112 serve as lock hole. Holes 120, 122, 124, 126 are provided being equipped with ribs at the perimeter of the bottom surface to receive corresponding projections on an accommodation part when the battery pack is set in the battery accommodation part of an apparatus concerned. The electrodes of this package battery are installed on the bottom surfaces of the recesses 80, 82 at the foremost extremity of the bottom case 16. In case the battery pack can not adapt to the charger provided, the pack is inclined by projections provided on the charger largely to enable judging easily the adaptability.

PURPOSE:To make it possible to edit the contents of another recording medium having different standard by temporarily stopping a recording medium after moving the medium in the reverse direction by a length corresponding to a prescribed reproducing time, and at the time of inputting a prescribed control signal releasing the temporary stop and sending the reproduced signal to another VTR or the like. CONSTITUTION:When the edition start point of a tape 7 is determined, a pause button 27 is depressed to temporarily stop the tape 7 and then a preroll botton 28 is depressed, the tape 7 is traveled in the reverse direction by the length corresponding to 5 seconds at an equal speed and then temporarily stopped. At that time, a queue signal CUE is inputted to a system controller 17 through a terminal 5 and a preroll releasing signal is sent from an editing device 3 to a system controller 37. Receiving the queue signal CUE, a VTR 1 is switched to a reproducing mode and sends a reproduced video signal SV to a recording processing circuit 36 in a VTR 2. The VTR 2 is also switched to the reproducing mode and a CTL signal recorded in a tape 30 is reproduced by a CTL head 42. Thus, edition between different machines can be attained.

SOLUTION: When manufacturing the battery pack 1 equipped with a battery 20, in which a battery element 10 composed by winding around or laminating a positive electrode 11 and a negative electrode 12 via separators 13a, 13b, is wrapped by a laminate film 17, its protection circuit board 2, and a sheath material 3 for integrally covering the battery 20 and the protection circuit board 2, by filling a molding space 7 and carrying out curing wherein the battery 20 and the protection circuit board 2 are housed, by dividing the sheath material 3 covering the battery 20 and the protection circuit board 2 into a plurality, by forming the respective parts sequentially, and by forming a weld line WL which is a joint of respective parts on the surface of the sheath material 3, the battery pack 1 which is high in the dimensional accuracy and the mechanical strength is obtained. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a battery pack, in which a battery pack which has a high dimensional accuracy and strength and has a small size and a light weight can be manufactured with a high productivity. SOLUTION: The battery pack is provided with a battery 20 in which a battery element 10 wound by a positive electrode 11 and a negative electrode 12 with a separator 13 in-between is covered by a laminated film 17, a protecting circuit board 32 of the battery 20 and an external covering material 18 which covers integrally the battery 20 and the protecting circuit board 32 while a terminal 15 of the battery 20 is extruded out by being filled in and hardened in a formed mold C which houses the battery 20 and the protecting circuit board 32, and moreover is provided with spacers 35 which set up the battery 20 and the protecting circuit board 32 at a predetermined position in the formed mold C and are integrated with the external covering material 18 which is filled in and hardened in the mold C. The spacers 35 are arranged so that the external covering material 18 can be spread over a whole of a surrounding space of the battery pack 20 and the protecting circuit board 32. SOLUTION: The battery pack is composed so that a hard laminate material 11a has a structure in which a metal layer composed of a hard metal having Vickers hardness of ≥30 is sandwiched between an outer face resin layer and an inner face resin layer; and the single colors, characters or patterns are printed on the inner face side of the outer face resin layer. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain the production of plural types of tape cassettes of different shapes by loading a small size tape cassette into a magnetic reproducing device having a large tape cassette size and loading this reproducing device into a magnetic reproducing device which reproduces the large size tape cassettes. CONSTITUTION:When a video tape recorder 2 with a built-in camera or a 1/2-inch tape cassette is pushed into a cassette slot 36 of a video tape recorder 1, a door 40 flipped inside at the slot 36. Thus the loaded recorder 2 or cassette can move inside up to a prescribed position. At the same time, a cassette detection circuit detects the loading of the recorder 2 or the 1/2-inch tape cassette when a switch provided inside the door 40 is switched to an ON state. Then the detection circuit outputs a cassette detection signal to a control circuit. As a result, the recorder 1 can reproduce even an 8mm tape cassette in addition to the 1/2-inch tape cassette.
