Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sound skipping or the like in recording and/or reproducing for a disk, and to prevent damage of an optical pickup apparatus at the time of transportation or the like. SOLUTION: A floating chassis 10 is attached to a main chassis 1 through a damper 3, a cartridge holder 18 which is provided with a pull-in lever 30 is arranged at this floating chassis 10 so as to be slidable, also, a mechanical chassis 37 constituting a recording and/or reproducing part is attached so as to be rotatable. Further, a lock piece 65 preventing movement of an optical pickup apparatus 45 is provided at the floating chassis 10 side when the recording and/or reproducing part is moved in the direction of being separated form a disk cartridge 201. Since the cartridge holder 18 and the mechanical chassis 37 constituting the recording and/or reproducing part are provided at the floating chassis 10 attached through the damper 3, sound skipping in recording and/or reproducing is not caused. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of operation of an objective lens driving mechanism related with an optical pickup and disk drive unit.
SOLUTION: In an objective lens driving mechanism 9, a fixing body 10, a movable body 11, a magnet 28, a coil body 19, and a plurality of wire-like elastic members 29, 29, 29 are formed. The fixing body 10 has a base section 12 and a supporting shaft section 13 set up projectingly in the direction of an optical axis of the objective lens 26. The movable body 11 is supported removably in the direction of the shaft of the supporting shaft section and rotatably around the shaft of the supporting shaft section. The magnet 28 is set up at either one of the movable body or the fixing body. The coil body 19 is set up on the other one of the movable body or the fixing body and constituted of a focusing coil 20 and tracking coils 21, 21. The plurality of the wire-like elastic members 29, 29, 29 join the movable body and the fixing body. They are carried out elastic deformation when the movable body is operated in the direction of focusing and in the direction of tracking, while they give tension to the movable body from a plurality of different directions almost orthogonal to the direction of focusing and also hold the movable body in a neutral position in the direction of tracking, and a neutral position in the direction of focusing.

SOLUTION: An objective lens driving mechanism 9 is provided with; a fixing body 10 having a base section 12 attached to a mobile base 8, and a supporting shaft section 13 set up projectingly from the base section in the direction of an optical axis of the objective lens; a movable body 11 holding an objective lens 26, supported removably in the direction of the shaft of the supporting shaft section and rotatably in the direction of around the shaft of the supporting shaft section, and also moved to the direction of the shaft of the supporting shaft section in applying a focusing servo mechanism and turned to shaft rounding direction of the supporting shaft section in applying the tracking servo mechanism; a magnet 27 set up at either one of the movable body or the fixing body; and a coil body 19 constituted of a focusing coil 20 and a tracking coil 21 and set up on the other one of the movable body or the fixing body. The magnet is formed annularly, magnetized unipolarly in the radiation direction, and at the same time, the magnet is arranged so that central axis of the magnet may nearly match the central shaft of the supporting shaft section.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of operation of an objective lens driving mechanism while reducing parts count and decreasing a production cost.
SOLUTION: In an objective lens driving mechanism 9, a fixing body 10, a movable body 11, a magnet 27, a coil body 19, and a blade spring 28 for keeping neutrality are formed. The fixing body 10 has a base section 12 attached to a mobile base 8 and a supporting shaft section 13 set up projectingly from the base section in the direction of an optical axis of the objective lens 26. The movable body 11 is supported removably in the direction of the shaft of the supporting shaft section and rotatably around the shaft of the supporting shaft section. The magnet 27 is set up at either one of the movable body or the fixing body. The coil body 19 is set up on the other one of the movable body or the fixing body and constituted of a focusing coil 20 and a tracking coil 21. The blade spring for keeping neutrality has a transformation section 30 for focusing which holds the movable body in a neutral position in the direction of the focusing, and a transformation section 31 for the tracking which holds the movable body in a neutral position in the direction of the tracking, and at the same time the transformation section for the focusing and the transformation section for the tracking are integrated and formed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce costs and operate an apparatus stably by simply constituting the apparatus with a rotary plate cam. CONSTITUTION: When a cartridge 13 is to be ejected, an eject button is manipulated to open a cartridge holder 12. At the same time, a bending part 17c of a rotary plate cam 17 guides an end of an axial part 16d of an eject release lever 16, so that the end advances into the rotary plate cam 17. The axial part 16d receives a force indicated by an arrow G from the bending part 17c. As a result, a front end 16c of the lever 16 is pressed in the G direction against the tensile force of a lock spring. The lever 16 is oscillated in the clockwise direction around a rotary shaft 16a to a release position. The other end 16b of the lever 16 is separated from a bending element 14c of an eject plate 14. The plate 14 is moved to an eject position by the tensile force of an eject spring 15, pressing an end of the cartridge 13 downward by a free end 14b thereof. In This manner, the cartridge 13 is discharged outside through an opening end of the holder 12 in a direction of an arrow B.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To retract a magnetic head from a cartridge in emergency even when the cartridge is forcibly taken out of a cartridge holder by the user during recording a magneto-optical disk and hence to prevent damage such as deformation of the magnetic head by providing a magnetic head emergency retracting mechanism separately from a magnetic head elevating/lowering means. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with the magnetic head elevating/ lowering means 20 having its operating source from driving force of a motor and the magnetic head emergency retracting mechanism 19 having its operating source from the action of taking the cartridge out of the cartridge holder 15 respectively in separation. In the magnetic head elevating/lowering means 20, a cam mechanism is operated by driving force of the motor 22a, and at the time of reproducing the magneto-optical disk 16, the magnetic head 17 is separated from the disk surface, and at the time of recording, the magnetic head 17 is brought into contact with the surface of the disk 16. In the magnetic head emergency retracting mechanism 19, the magnetic head 17 is mechanically retracted from the surface of the disk 16 with the operating source from the action of taking the cartridge out of the cartridge holder 15.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of evaporation efficiency due to a rise of atmospheric pressure and the disturbance of a dye immediately after transfer, in a printer equipped with a head part transferring a dye evaporated under heating to printing paper in an evaporation part, by providing an air adjusting part in communication with the evaporation part. CONSTITUTION:The head part 10 of a printer is constituted of the receiving part 11 of a solid evaporative dye 12, the introducing part 15 of a liquid evaporative dye 12' formed by heating the solid evaporative dye and an evaporation part of the liquid evaporative dye 12'. The introducing part 15 and the evaporation part 17 are surrounded by a protective layer 13 and a bed base member 14. In this case, an evaporation hole 17a is provided to the surface coming into contact with printing paper 50 of the head part 10, that is, the protective layer 13 corresponding to the evaporation part 17 and an air adjusting part 30 is provided in adjacent relation to the evaporation hole 17a. By this constitution, the lowering of evaporation efficiency due to the rise of atmospheric pressure in the evaporation hole 17a is prevented and the disturbance of the dye 12' immediately after transferred to the printing paper 50 is prevented.
