PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an operating cord having a connection part inexpensively.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the operating cord is provided that comprises a process of: forming a main cord having one end and the other end; forming a plurality of first connection members having a first fitting part; forming a second connection member having a plurality of second fitting parts which is fittable with the first fitting part; connecting the first connection members to each end of the main cord; and fitting the plurality of the first fitting parts to the second fitting parts respectively.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless operating cord which is easily replaceable.SOLUTION: The operating cord is provided that comprises: a main cord having one end and the other end; a first connection part provided to the one end; and a second connection part provided to the other end, where the first and the second connection parts are capable of being connected to each other directly or via a connection member, and are removable by relative rotation or relative displacement toward direction which is not a longitudinal direction of the main cord.

SOLUTION: A pulley is constituted of first and second pulley pieces 15a, 15b, when an excessive tensile force of or larger than a tensile force acting on an operating cord 7 suspended from the pulley at normal operation acts on the operating cord 7, and the first and second pulley pieces 15a, 15b are spaced from each other, to allow the operating cord 7 to fall off the pulley. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window blind operation device capable of stably maintaining, over a long period, the magnitude of an external force required for causing a pulley to come out. SOLUTION: The pulley 100 is detachably connected, at the side part, to a connection member 56 for transmission mechanisms 34, 35 on the head box 11 side. A magnetic for attracting the pulley 100 and the connection member 56 to each other acts therebetween to maintain the connected state of the pulley 100 to the connection member 56. When both sides of an operation cable 23 suspended from the operation device 21 are concurrently pulled downward, the pulley 100 around which the operation cable 23 is wrapped comes out of the head box 11 together with a pulley case 81. SOLUTION: In the mounting bracket of a sunshade fixing the head box 1 thereto by rotatably supporting an operating lever 6 on the body, providing fixed pieces 9a and 9b to the operating lever 6 and engaging the fixed pieces 9a and 9b with engaging sections 4a and 4b of the head box 1 based on the rotation of the operating lever 6, the operating lever 6 can be rotated among an unlocking position without holding the engaging sections 4a and 4b of the head box 1, a temporary anchor position holding the engaging sections 4a and 4b with the anchor pieces 9a and 9b in a movable manner and an anchor position holding the engaging sections 4a and 4b with the anchor pieces 9a and 9b in an unmovable manner, and the first rotation controlling means 12a and 13a controlling the rotation of the operating lever 6 at the temporary anchor position are provided to at least either one of the operating lever 6 and the body. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting code winding device for winding a lifting code on a tapered winding shaft by which the lifting code is wound off the winding shaft smoothly while winding it on the winding shaft without overlapping. SOLUTION: In a hoisting device for a shading material of a solar shading device, the winding shaft 3 whose diameter varies to a taper is rotatably supported by a supporting member 2. The shading material is lifted or lowered by winding the lifting code 13 on a large diameter side of the winding shaft 3 while allowing the code to move sequentially to its small diameter side, or by winding the lifting code 13 off the winding shaft 3. The winding shaft 3 is provided with a tilt regulating means 15 for automatically increasing or decreasing a tilt of the taper according to the increase or decrease in a wound amount of the lifting code 13. SOLUTION: The pulling-up operation of the solar shading material suspended and borne from a head box 1 can be made by pulling the rising and falling cord 10 out of the head box 1, the falling operation of the solar shading material can be made by pulling the rising and falling cord 10 in the head box 1 based on the weight of the solar shading material, the head box 1 can select either the pulling-up operation of the solar shading material and falling operation or a self-weight falling preventive operation for preventing the falling based on the weight of the solar shading material, and in the shading material rising and falling device for a solar shading device equipped with a self-weight falling prevention device 11, the self-weight falling prevention device 11 separates a holding device 21 for preventing the movement of the rising and falling cord 10 by holding if in the case of the self-weight falling preventive operation from the rising and falling cord 10 except the time in the case of the self-weight falling preventive operation.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the beautiful appearance and to easily adjust the weight by arranging an insertion hole opened in a rail end face at the end of a bottom rail and fittingly inserting a weight in the insertion hole. SOLUTION: The weight of a bottom rail 5 is appropriately adjusted by fittingly inserting a weight 15 in an insertion hole 14 and a bottom plate 16 is fastened to the bottom rail 5 by a screw. The opening part of the insertion hole 14 is thus covered and hid therewith so as to ensure the beautiful appearance and a slat is eliminated to be stuck on the top surface of the bottom rail 5 so that the fitting works of the weight 15 is facilitated. A bottom plate 16 having the same shape as the side shape of the bottom rail 5 is attached to both side faces of the bottom rail 5 so as to have the protection function for the bottom rail 5. This constitution can prevent the bottom rail 5 from being chipped by collision with a window frame, etc., and improve the beautiful appearance by integrating the external appearance in a case of used for a blind with a different width.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical blind which enables easy formation of a stopper for holding a bracing in a predetermined position of a hanger rail.SOLUTION: A vertical blind includes: a shaft 4 which has both ends rotatably supported at both ends of a hanger rail 1; a bracing 8 which is movably supported by the hanger rail 1, through which the shaft 4 is inserted, and which is transferred in a slat folding direction together with a leading runner in a slat folding operation; and a stopper 10 which holds the bracing 8 in a supporting position to inhibit deflection of the shaft 4. The stopper 10 is formed by applying lancing to the hanger rail 1.
