    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title membrane suitable for use in batteries, because it has no defects such as fisheyes on its fine pore surface, and shows excellent uniformity in its pore size, by adding a specific organic solid to the polyolefin and controlling the cooling temperature in a prescribed range. CONSTITUTION:A blend of (A) a polyolefin and (B) an organic solid which melts at 35-100 deg.C, has a molecular weight of 200-1,000 and includes dipolar or polar groups is melt-extruded, solidified by cooling it down to a temperature between the melting point of component B and the melting and crystallizing temperature, then subjected to the extraction of component B to give the subject membrane.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance thermal adhesiveness and slip properties by laminating an A-layer composed of thermoplastic polyester A, a B-layer composed of polyester 8 whose m.p. is lower than that of polyester A and a C-layer composed of water-dispersible polyester C containing inert particles in a specific order. CONSTITUTION:An A-layer composed of thermoplastic polyester A, a B-layer composed of polyester B whose m.p. is lower than that of polyester A by 10 deg.C or higher and a C-layer composed of water-dispersible and/or water-soluble polyester C containing inert particles are laminated at least in the order of A/B/C. Herein, polyester C contains the sulfonic base and/or polyoxyalkylene glycol bonded to an ester forming aromatic ring as its polymer segment and it is pref. to set the mean particle size of the inert particles contained in the C-layer to 0.01-5mum and the addition amount thereof to 0.1-50wt.% in order to reconcile slip properties and heat sealability.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the fitness to the shape of an object and long-term reliability by providing a tacky-adhesive layer at least on one side of a specified thermoplastic film. CONSTITUTION:A tacky-adhesive layer of 5-1,000mum in thickness is provided at least on one side of a non-oriented thermoplastic film which consists mainly of a polyester copolymer formed from an acid component comprising 50-95mol% aromatic and/or alicyclic dicarboxylic acid and 50-5mol% aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, or a copolyamide composed mainly of nylon 12 and which has an acetone extraction loss of 10wt.% or less, a stress at 5% deformation of 10kg/10mm or lower at least in one direction, an average dynamic tandelta at 20-40 deg.C of 0.1-10% at least in one direction, a fusion energy of 0.2-10cal/g, a ratio of the breaking strength in the lengthwise direction to that in the widthwise direction of 0.6 to 1.4, and a thickness of 5-2,000mum.
