    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayered sheet excellent in emboss processability for reducing warpage in embossing and generating no crack in a stamped charac ter, having excellent thermal fusibility in heat laminating and used in a card such as a magnetic card, an IC card, and also to provide the card comprising the same. SOLUTION: At least one layer of the multilayered sheet is a sheet A comprising at least one kind of a thermoplastic resin selected from an amorphous polyester (A-1) and an aromatic polycarbonate (A-2), and at least another layer thereof is a sheet B comprising a biaxially oriented sheet whose average value of heat shrinkage factors measured when the sheet is heat-treated at 150 deg.C for 30 min in three directions equally divided in the surface of the sheet is not more than 1%.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lactam oligomer compsn. having a high polymn. rate to form a polyamide. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises a linear oligomer comprising ε- caprolactam, a linear oligomer comprising at least one structural unit of the formula I, 0 or more structural unit of the formula II and 0 or more structural unit of the formula III and, if necessary, a cyclic oligomer comprising at least two structural units of the formula I, 0 or more structural unit of the formula II and 0 or more structural unit of the formula III. The linear oligomer concn. in the composition is at least 8×10 mol per gram of the total of the caprolactam, the linear oligomer and the cyclic oligomer, and the ratio of caprolactam dimer, which is a cyclic oligomer, to the total of the caprolactam, linear oligomer and cyclic oligomer is 0.3wt.% or less. The number-average degree of polymn. of all the oligomers is 1.05 to 60.

CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. polyamide resin (e.g. nylon 6, nylon 66, or nylon 11) is compounded with 0.001-10 pts.wt. monoamide obtd. from a 5-30C monocarboxylic acid and a 10-30C monoamine. 100 pts.wt. the resulting compsn. is compounded with 0.005-5 pts.wt. component comprising an inorg. crystallization-nucleating agent (e.g. barium sulfate or calcium carbonate) and/or a metal salt of a fatty acid (e.g. zinc stearate or aluminum stearate).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition increased in the productivity of injection molding by shortening its molding cycle time at low temperature and improved in the solvent resistance of a molding by mixing a thermoplastic polyester with a specified amount of a specified beta-diketone (metal chelate). CONSTITUTION:100 pts. wt. thermoplastic polyester (A) (e.g., polyethylene terephthalate) is mixed with 0.05-10 pts.wt. beta-diketone of an MW of 101-150, having a basic structure of formula I (wherein R1 is a 1 C or higher hydrocarbon group; and R2 is a 2 C or higher hydrocarbon group, provided that R1 and R2 may be combined together to form a ring structure), e.g., formula II or formula III, and/or its metal chelate (B) to produce a polyester resin composition. As the metal which constitutes the metal chelate of component B, Li, Na, K or the like is desirable. The obtained polyester resin can be desirably used for electric and electronic components, automobile parts, etc.
