    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition that shows good durability, high strength and high heat resistance under the contact with an aqueous solution including warm water, polyhydric alcohol such as ethylene or propylene glycol and provide water area material therefrom. SOLUTION: The polyamide resin composition for water stop packing material comprises (a) 40 to 90 wt.% of polyamide resin, (b) 1 to 40 wt.% of polyolefin, and (c) 1 to 40 wt.% of polyphenylene sulfide resin and, when the resin phase separating structure is observed through electron microscopy, the polyamide resin (a) has the continuous phase, the polyolefin resin (b) and the polyphenylene sulfide resin (c) forms the dispersed phase wherein the polyolefin resin (b) and the polyphenylene sulfide resin (c) disperse individually in particles of 1 to 200 nm particle sizes.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fuel tank part for automobiles capable of maintaining excellent mechanical strength and toughness of a polyamide resin and excellent fuel barrier properties of PPS resin in a high balance, having excellent post processing properties such as welding to a polyethylene resin tank. SOLUTION: This fuel tank part for automobiles is characterized in that the part is a molding obtained by injection molding a resin composition composed of (a) 60-95 wt.% of a polyamide resin and (b) 40-5 wt.% of a polyphenylene sulfide resin by using a mold having the ratio of gate diameter to a flow length to a final packing part of 1:>=5, the polyamide resin forms a continuous phase and the polyphenylene sulfide resin forms a beltlike dispersed phase in a resin phase separation structure of the molding observed by an electron microscope.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a thermoplastic resin and a molded article thereof which have such excellent characteristics under water absorbing condition as having permeability resistance to gas and/or liquid even in the use under a high humidity and also which have control over the dimensional changes and degradation of mechanical property such as toughness caused by moisture absorption. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin structure, being constituted with a resin composition comprising substantially 5-80% by volume of a mixture of (a) a polyamide resin and (b) a polyphenylene sulfide resin and 95-20% by volume of (c) a polyolefin resin, and having a resin-phase separation structure observable with an electronic microscope, is characterized by forming a phase structure in which the polyolefin resin (c) is a matrix phase (a continuous phase) and the mixture of the polyamide resin (a) and the polyphenylene sulfide resin (b) is a dispersed phase.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition having well-balanced excellent properties inherent in a nylon resin and suited for vibration welding by mixing a nylon resin with a lubricant and a glass fiber having a specified average fiber diameter in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: 100 pts.wt. nylon resin is mixed with 0.1-50 pts.wt. lubricant and 10-150 pts.wt. glass fiber having an average fiber diameter of 5-15 μm. The nylon resin is desirably one having a melting point of 200 deg.C or above. The lubricant is selected among graphite, molybdenum disulfide, silicone compounds, fluoro resins, etc. It is desirable that the glass fiber is controlled so that the rate of glass fibers with a weight-average fiber length of 100-400 μm and a fiber length of 60 μm or below may be 10-50 wt.%, based on the total glass fibers, when it is in a state of a melt blend of the nylon resin, especially, in a state subjected to melt kneading once. It is desirable that the composition may further contain 0.01-3 pts.wt. copper compound per 100 pts.wt. nylon resin.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the joining strength and reliability of a molding by a method wherein the joining surfaces to be welded are welded after the joining surfaces to be welded are treated with a surface treating agent having a lubricity. SOLUTION: A resin molding is produced by adding additives such as a crystalline nucleating agent such as a talc, a kaolin, an organic phosphor compound or the like, a color protective agent, an antioxidant or the like to one kind or more of a resin selected from the group consisting of a polyamide resin, the major constituent components of which are amino acid, a lactam or a diamine, a dicarboxylic acid, an aromatic polyester resin, a polyphenylene sulfide resin. The surfaces of joining surfaces, through which two or more of these resin moldings are welded together, are treated by applying or spraying a surface treating agent having a lubricity selected from the group consisting of a plasticizer, a lubricant and a lubricating oil and diluting with an organic solvent such as methanol, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone. The surface- treated joining surfaces of resin moldings are joint to each other through the melting by a vibrational welding, a spin welding or the like. Thereby the joining strength and reliability of the joining can be improved.

(e.g. melamine) and cyanuric or isocyanuric acid, 0-1,000 pts.wt.thermoplastic resin (e.g. a polyester resin), 0.1-50 pts.wt. phosphorus flame retardant, 0.1-50 pts.wt. hindered phenol stabilizer, and 5-140 pts.wt. filler on a twin-screw extruder, etc. The phosphorus-contg. thermoplastic resin used has structural units represented by the formula (wherein R to R are each an unhalogenated mono- or divalent org. group) in the main chain or side chains and is produced by subjecting a dicarboxylic acid deriv. and a diol deriv. to transesterification in the presence of a catalyst followed by the polycondensation with a phosphorus-contg. dicarboxylic acid deriv., etc., under heating.
