    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for a thermal transfer ribbon having excellent processability, gradability and printability and the thermal transfer ribbon. SOLUTION: The film for a thermal transfer ribbon comprises a biaxially oriented polyester film as a base material layer. In this case, a static frictional coefficient when a front surface and a rear surface of the layer are superposed and a frictional coefficient is measured falls within a range of 0.10 to 0.50. A distribution of a winding hardness measured from a front layer side of a winding roll toward a winding core side when the film is wound on a core is in a range of 93 degrees to less than 96 degrees, and a winding hardness of the winding core of the roll is 96 degrees or above. In the ribbon, an ink layer is provided on one side surface of such thermal transfer biaxially oriented polyester film.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite film capable of using a polyester resin once used in extrusion as a raw material of good quality of a film without disusing and burning the same as industrial waste to sufficiently subject the recovered raw material to practical use. SOLUTION: A composite film has at least two layers of a layer A containing N1 foreign matters with a long diameter of 100 μm or more and a layer B containing N2 foreign matters with a long diameter of 100 μm or more and satisfies formula (l); N1>3 pieces/m2 and formula (2); N1-N2>=3 pieces/m2. The surface roughness ARa of the layer A and the surface roughness BRa of the layer B pref. satisfy formula (3); ARa>BRa and formula (4); ARa>20 nm.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably provide a heat-sensitive stencil printing original paper of a high sensitivity, wherein both of a character printing and a solid printing are clear, the gradient is high, there is no printing unevenness, and also, the plate-making period of time can be shortened, and a printing of which the dot density is higher can be performed. SOLUTION: This film is a biaxially oriented polyester film having a thickness of 0.5-4 μm, and satisfies [S(Tmax)-Y(Tmax)]+[S(Tmas+30)-Y(Tmax+30)]+[S(Tmax+60)-Y(Tmax+60)]>0. In this case, Tmax[ deg.C] is a temperature which indicates a maximum value of the heat shrinkage stress of the film, S(T) [g/mm ] is a heat shrinkage stress at a temperature T[ deg.C], and Y(T) [kg/mm ] is a tensile elastic modulus of the film at the temperature T[ deg.C].
