    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost air bag excellent in the accommodation property, air-tightness, and the safety. SOLUTION: The air bag is structured so that a resin to make welding attachment with high frequency is laminated with a bonding force of 14.7 N/2-cm width or more to at least one surface of a cloth made of synthetic fiber, wherein the degree of aeration measured according to JIS L 1096 (6.27.1A method) should be 0.1 cc/cm2/sec or less, and this base cloth for air bag is sewn with the resin put in welding attachment with high frequency.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having excellent flame retardancy, resin film formability and resin film strength, scarcely bleeding a frame retardant on the surface and not generating a poisonous substance containing a halogen on combustion by compounding a flame retardant encapsulated in microcapsules and a thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant resin composition comprises (A) a flame retardant preferably a flame retardant not containing a halogen, more preferably a phosphorous compound, especially a flame-retardant compound of the formula [R1 to R4 are each phenyl, cresyl or xylenyl; (n) is 1-20]} encapsulated in microcapsules and (B) a thermoplastic resin (a polyolefinic resin, a polyester- based resin, a polyurethane-based resin, etc.,). The microcapsules are added in a temperature B/temperature A ratio of preferably 100 pts.wt./(10-200 pts.wt.), more preferably 100 pts.wt./(20-80 pts.wt.).

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stainproofness of sheet cut edge face with various properties retained by coating cut edge face of composite film material with thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: Cut edge face of composite film material, where at least one side of a fiber fabric base is coated with thermoplastic resin, is coated with thermoplastic resin. A typical example of thermoplastic resin is vinyl chloride resin, olefin resin, or fluororesin. Coating processing is performed by applying a solvent solution of resin used for film material to the edge part for heat- treating if necessary, covering the edge part with resin film for adhering using an adhesive, or bonding through hot pressing for integrating. The fiber fabric base is preferably polyester fiber, or glass fiber for strength and dimensional resistance. On at least one side of the fiber fabric base, a resin film formed of the thermoplastic resin by a calendering method, or T-die extrusion is hot- pressed, or solvent resin is coated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated sheet excellent in antistaning properties by bonding an acrylic resin skin layer to the single surface of a sheet to which a vinyl chloride resin base material layer containing a specific plasticizer is bonded. CONSTITUTION:A laminated sheet excellent in antistaining properties is obtained by bonding an acrylic resin skin layer (B) to the single surface of a sheet to which a vinyl chloride resin base material layer (A) is bonded. The plasticizer of the base material layer (A) is set to one kind selected from a group consisting of a pyromellitic acid type plasticizer, a trimellitic type plasticizer and a polyester type plasticizer. As the plasticizer to be used, a trimellitic acid type plasticizer such as tri-2-ethylhexyl trimellitate or triisodecyl trimellitate, a pyromellitic acid type plasticizer such as 2-ethylhexyl pyromellitate or one obtained by esterifying a glycol component such as n-octanol is pref.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a method for stably manufacturing a decorative sheet, which has extremely fine rugged pattern on its surface, at low cost so as to realize the fashionability excellent in surface change, and clothing. CONSTITUTION:The decorative sheet concerned is thermoplastic resin sheet-like matter with rugged pattern consisting of intervals or lines having the thickness of 0.1-100mum. Further, in order to manufacture the decorative sheet, sheet, which has rugged pattern consisting of intervals or lines having the thickness of 0.1-100mum and is so treated as to be water repellent, is laminated at least on one side of the thermoplastic resin sheet-like matter so as to being the matter in contact with the side treated to be water repellent of the sheet in order to be pressed together with the matter under heat and cooled down and finally separated from the sheet treated to be water repellent.

CONSTITUTION:The natural leather-like polyolefin sheet has a coating film composed of a blended resin composition composed of an olefin elastomer and an ionomer resin laminated to a textile cloth or a plastic substrate. The natural leather-like polyolefin sheet is produced by mixing an olefin elastomer with an ionomer resin under melting and forming the obtained blended resin composition in molten state.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stably obtain a pile sheet having light weight, high flexibility and excellent press-formability in post-processing. CONSTITUTION:The pile sheet is composed of a pile fabric 1 backed with a foamed sheet 2 containing flattened bubbles 3 having a (major diameter)/(minor diameter) ratio of >=4. The pile sheet can be produced by extruding molten thermoplastic resin together with a foaming agent, continuously laminating the extrudate to the back face of a pile cloth and pressing the resin with a nip roll or an emboss roll while the resin is still in softened state.
