Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention consists of a tile (10) or a tiling accessory for attachment to a conventional tile, each including a levelling member for levelling the tile upon a surface. The tile or tiling accessory may also include a spacing member for defining a separation between adjacent tiles. A single member may perform both levelling and spacing functions. The tile and tiling accessory enable tiles to be attached to a surface without first coating the surface with adhesive, and obviates the need to level and space the tiles once affixed. The invention includes methods of using the tile and tiling accessory, and includes also an apparatus and method for dispensing adhesive for a tile, wherein only a predetermined amount of adhesive is dispensed. The invention is applicable to wall or floor tiles used for decorative or protective purposes.
Abstract:
Stone for forming a pavement, characterized in that it has, on one hand, an irregularly or particularly shaped upper portion (3) and, on the other hand, is provided with means (4) which allow to lay such stone (1), together with other, similar stones (1), in a regular manner.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The concrete paving stone (10) or flag stone consists of a parallelepipedal stone body (11) with substantially upright lateral surfaces (12, 13, 14, 15) and upright spacers (16, 17, 18) located on the latter, for forming joints (19) between adjacent paving stones (10) or flag stones. On certain lateral surfaces, (12, 13, 14, 15) spacers (17, 18) are arranged in pairs, with their opposing lateral surfaces (25) converging, at least in partial sections (28), towards the underside (23) of the paving stones (10). Paving stones (10) or flag stones comprising spacers (16, 17, 18) lie adjacent to one another within the laid subsoil covering (20). During laying, the paving stones (10) or flag stones are placed perpendicularly from above next to paving stones (10) or flag stones which have already been laid. The spacers (16) of the paving stones (10) to be laid are inserted in this manner between two pairs of spacers (17, 18) of a laid paving stone (10) and are guided during laying along the inclined lateral surfaces (25) of the spacers (17, 18) into a correct relative position.
Abstract:
A paving block having a prismatic body parallel grooves are formed in the whole top of the body. The pitch of the adjacent grooves and the distance between the groove and the joint are substantially equal to one another. One of the sides of the block body has a projection for fitting the adjacent block bodies to each other, and the other has a groove into which the projection of the adjacent block body is fitted. When a pavement is constructed by such paving blocks, the wheels of wheelchairs and baby carriages hardly rattle and vibrate at the joints between the blocks and the rattling and vibration are hardly transmitted to the bodies of the wheelchairs and baby carriages while they move on the pavement. When the blocks are laid, the adjacent blocks are jointed and the blocks are flush with one another. Therefore, even if a heavy load is exerted on one block, the load is distributed to the adjacent blocks, causing no unevenness and step due to settlement and slant.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a paving stone (1) used for producing a stable long-term paved assembly. To this end, the paving stones (1) are blocked so as to prevent any sliding displacement thereof in a vertical direction while allowing for their laying in a vertical direction. According to this invention, each side (3, 4) of a paving stone (1) is provided with vertical dented members (5, 6) so that only dented members can be inserted from the top (6) or only dented members can be inserted from underneath (5).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a construction kit made of concrete paving stones comprising substantially prismatic stone bodies of a uniform height and upright lateral surfaces. A plurality of stone paving stones (2) arranged in rows and having the same width in addition to the same or different lengths can be placed manually or placed by means of a machine with continuous or offset joints in said joint areas. A plurality of rows of paving stones that are arranged next to each other in a parallel position is used to form a rectangular or square packet that can be placed using a machine. The paving stones (2) have side surfaces (4) which have head pieces (2') that are defined by a wavy line along part of their height and base pieces (2'') in sections, comprising domed areas (5) or projections jutting out laterally in relation to the head pieces (2') extending along another part of their height. When the packets are assembled for placement in the vicinity of the end stones that make up a row of paving stones, they form a line of continuous joints or provide substantially winding-shaped joints (7) if so desired by replacing different sized end stones from adjacent packets that have been moved towards each other.
Abstract:
The inventive shaped block (20) has a main body (21) which is rectangular, preferably square, in the base (1) and which has four vertical lateral walls (22, 23, 24, 25). Two first lateral walls (22, 23), are allocated an equal number of spacers (26), said lateral walls facing each other, whilst two second lateral walls (24, 25), also facing each other, are free of spacers.
