Abstract:
A stop member for an operator chain in a chain operator, wherein the operator chain has a width, rivet holes and rivets, constitutes a pin arranged in a rivet hole not occupied by a rivet in the operator chain, wherein the pin has a length exceeding the width of the operator chain. The pin can be cylindrical with a diameter corresponding essentially to that of the rivet hole, and the diameter of the pin can be slightly smaller than that of the rivet hole, so as to be loosely held in the rivet hole.

PURPOSE: A door structure of a building having a natural lighting function is provided to easily change the transparent or opaque state of a lighting body into the opaque or transparent state. CONSTITUTION: A door structure of a building having a natural lighting function comprises a door(10), a lighting body(20), rollers, drive units, vertical fixing bars(50), horizontal guides(60), middle guides, and a control panel. The lighting body has multiple hexahedrons(21) and opaque hexahedrons(22) connected to each other. The rollers are rotatably fixed to the vertical fixing bars and guide the rotation of the lighting body. The drive units are rotatably fixed to the horizontal guides to move the lighting body. The middle guides guide the lighting body. The control panel is electrically connected to a motor and is exposed to the indoor surface of the door.

PURPOSE: A door structure which can be used as an entrance of a building having a natural lighting function is provided to selectively change the state of a square hole formed on a door into transparent or opaque states. CONSTITUTION: A door structure which can be used as an entrance of a building having a natural lighting function comprises a door, a function plate(20), a drive unit(30), and a control panel(40). The door has a square hole and a panel hole. The function plate comprises a transparent plate(25), an opaque plate(24), an inlet plate(22), a rectangular frame(21), and guides(26). The transparent, opaque, and inlet plates are vertically aligned and fixed to the rectangular frame. The guides guide the vertical movement of the transparent, opaque, and inlet plates. The drive unit vertically moves the function plate. The control panel supplies electricity to a motor to operate the drive unit.
Abstract:
A flex-drive actuator for a satellite boom hinge or other hinge applications. Using a motor-driven cog and a unique drive chain, the hinge can be reversibly driven between open and closed positions, thereby deploying or stowing the boom and attached payload. The chain includes links designed so that, when bent in one direction, the chain pre-buckles into a rigid circular arc form that matches the deployment path of the hinge. This pre-buckling essentially converts the chain into a rigid gear segment that can carry a moment to actuate the hinge. As the cog retracts the chain and the hinge closes, the circular shape of the chain de-buckles on the free side of the cog, where the chain can be stored as a straight section inside of a boom tube or folded into a magazine. The flex-drive actuator can accommodate any desired actuation angle by addition of links to the chain.
