A mobile station comprising an input configured to receive a data signal, a mixer for mixing the data signal with a correction signal producing a corrected signal, the correction signal changing a phase in the data signal to compensate for a measured phase error at a desired receiver, a modulator for modulating the corrected signal to radio frequency as a radio frequency signal, and an antenna for radiating the radio frequency signal.

This Invention provides a method for reducing transmission errors by a user equipment (UE) when transmitting a communication signal, comprising the steps of:
receiving an RF communication signal at said UE; analyzing said received signal for errors; generating a correction signal based upon said analysis; and correcting said communication signal using said correction signal prior to transmission of said communication signal from said UE.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that corrects errors generated in signal transmission prior to transmission in a digital Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) communication system. SOLUTION: The digital spread spectrum communication system calculates phase and frequency errors in a signal received from the opposite communication party during wireless communication and pre-corrects the phase and frequency errors of the signal prior to transmission to the opposite communication party.
