    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stem structure with few generation of crack and impure gas exhaustion, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same and a bulb using the same.
    SOLUTION: The bead stem structure is composed of at least one piece of lead-in wire 1 and a bead glass 2 stuck to the lead-in wire 1 by fusion, substantially not including bubbles at the upper end and lower end areas 2a, 2b, in the longitudinal direction of the lead-in wire 1. A glass tube is cut into short glass tubes 8 with a prescribed length by adding stress to the parts where a distortion is formed by irradiating laser beam, or to the part where a fine scratch is formed. The short glass tube 8 is also formed by cutting the glass tube with a diamond cutter and removing the indentation on the cut surface by grinding, or formed directly from fused glass.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide possibility of location separate from bonding of a vessel by locating a structure from outside the vessel with respect to the pattern in which internal structure is fixed to one of the divided pieces of a vessel and pattern is constituted in the other vessel. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent screen pattern 5 is provided at the inner surface of the transparent part of a glass vessel 1. An electron beam control means 3 is mounted on an adjuster plate 4 installed in a metal vessel 2. The adjuster 4 is fitted to the vessel 2 by bellows 6 in such a manner as sealed and movable. Adjusting screws 7, 8 are fitted to the vessel 2, and fixation can be made by moving the adjuster plate 4. The vessels 1, 2 are bonded together by glass type adhesive 9 to keep inside the vessels 1, 2 in vacuum. Thereby jig for bonding of vessels is simplified, and an electron beam control means can be located in alignment with the fluorescent screen in electrically driven condition.
