Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a thermostat actuator to be used for an exhaust heat recovery device.SOLUTION: In a first passage 45, a pocket portion 33 is provided which is shaped along the track at the front end of a valve 29 at a specified clearance kept therefrom to absorb overlift which is caused by the thermostat actuator 25 operated beyond a predetermined range when the temperature of cooling water exceeds a second set temperature higher than a first set temperature. Since the pocket portion 33 is shaped along the track at the front end of the valve 29, the valve 29 can be further operated in the state of the valve 29 closing the first passage 45. Additionally, even when the thermostat actuator 25 is operated beyond the predetermined range, the pocket portion 33 can absorb an equivalent thereto. The pocket portion 33 absorbs it, and so there is no need for arranging an absorbing spring in the thermostat actuator 25. In proportion as no absorbing spring is arranged, the size of the thermostat actuator 25 can be reduced.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake disk for a motorcycle in which a pulser ring is integrally formed with a disk body of the brake disk to reduce the cost and the rust due to electrolytic corrosion can be prevented, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A number of detection holes 7 generating a pulse on a wheel speed sensor are formed at equal intervals in the peripheral direction positioned in a predetermined annular region 6 inside a rotor part 2 in the radial direction in the disk body 1 having the rotor part 2 with which a pad pressingly contacts in braking. The detection holes 7 are formed by press working. The press working includes the steps of half-punching the detection holes 7 and punching the detection holes 7 from the same direction or the opposite direction of the half-punching step. Further, the detection holes 7 are divided to a first group consisting of #1 group of the detection holes 7 selected alternately in the peripheral direction and a second group consisting of #2 group of the balance of the detection holes 7, and press working of the second group detection holes is performed after press working of the first group detection holes 7.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid coupling to be assembled in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The fluid coupling 13 consists of: an input shaft 12; a pump impeller 25; oil 28 with which a region 26 is filled; a turbine impeller 31; and an output shaft 14. The turbine impeller 31 has a spline hole 51, and the output shaft 14 has a spline shaft 53 to be fitted into the spline hole 51. A groove 54 is provided in the end face of the base, where a rotary tool 62 can be hooked. Thus, the turbine impeller 31 is fitted to the spline shaft 53 in phase matching with the spline hole 51. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating type brake disc minimizing a heat sink to a hub from a rotor, and also reducing weight. SOLUTION: Pin receiving parts 6 1 and 6 2 for receiving a connecting pin 3 to surround from three directions of the inside in the radial direction, one side in the peripheral direction and the outside in the radial direction of the brake disc, are formed in a plurality of places in the peripheral direction of the outer periphery of the hub 2. Tongue-like pin receiving parts 6 3 and 6 4 extending inward in the radial direction so as to block up an opening part of the pin receiving parts 6 1 and 6 2 formed in the hub 2 and pinching the connecting pin 3 between the pin receiving parts 6 1 and 6 2 formed in the hub 2, are formed in a plurality of places in the peripheral direction of the inner periphery of the rotor 1.
