Abstract: Disclosed is an architecture for observing a plurality of objects arranged in geographically separate locations, including: a processing center connected to a global computer network, and at least one airliner. The at least one airlines includes: a cabin system including a local network, a first external communication module, a second external communication module, and an intermediate communication module connected to the first external communication module by the local network and to the second external communication module by the local network, the intermediate communication module communicating digital data including observation data between the second external communication module and the first external communication module via the local network.

Abstract: This solar panel (12) includes a structure (14) and at least two photovoltaic cells (16A, 16B) each defining a lateral contact face (30A, 30B) and including a base element (20A, 20B), a grid of electric conductors (24A, 24B) and a protective element (22A, 22B) made from transparent material, the grid (24A, 24B) including at least one conductive wire extending along the lateral contact face (30A, 30B).The cells (16A, 16B) are arranged on the structure (14) such that at least part of each of the lateral contact faces (30A, 30B) is arranged across from the other part. The solar panel (12) further includes a barrier (18A) made from dielectric material arranged on the structure (14) between the lateral contact faces and extending along the opposite parts of these faces (30A, 30B).

Abstract: A distributed amplification device with p inputs, p outputs, p amplification paths comprises a redundant reservoir of n amplifiers including n-p back-up amplifiers, an input redundancy ring and an output redundancy ring formed by rotary switches, the input and output redundancy rings sharing the same technology. The internal amplification pathways associated with the n-p back-up amplifiers frame in an interlaced manner the internal amplification pathways associated with the p nominal amplifiers and the amplification paths of the routing configurations each pass through at least five rotary switches. The input and output redundancy rings are topologically and geometrically configured and the family of the routing configurations is chosen such that the electrical lengths of all the paths of one and the same routing configuration of the family are equal.

Abstract: Receiver and method for receiving one or more RF signals, the RF signals comprising a component relative to a direct propagation path and, depending on a propagation environment, one or more additional components relative to reflected propagation paths, the receiver comprising a calculation circuit configured to: compute at least a first correlation function (310) between the received signal and at least a replica of a RF signal generated at the receiver, and for at least an output of said first correlation function: perform a cepstrum transform (410), search for one or more reflected propagation paths from the output of the cepstrum transform (411), and when reflected propagation paths are detected, determine the associated propagation characteristics (412), and remove the contribution of the detected reflected propagation paths from one of the received signal or the output of the first correlation function.

Abstract: A process of encoding information data in a sequence of bursts ( . . . , Bi-2, Bi-1 Bi, Bi+1, . . . ), each burst comprising a block of information symbols and a block of redundancy symbols. The block of redundancy symbols (R,) of the current burst (B,) of the sequence is generated by calculating a sum of a series of coding values relating to a series of bursts (Bi-2, Bi-1), each coding value of the series of coding values being obtained by a respective coding function applied to the block of information symbols of the corresponding burst of the series of bursts.
