An air conditioning apparatus includes an air conditioning housing and a mode door. The air conditioning housing has a discharge chamber through which conditioned air is discharged out of the air conditioning housing. The discharge chamber includes a defrost vent, a main vent, floor vents and a rear seat vent. The floor vents are formed on opposite sides of a rear portion of the air conditioning housing. The rear seat vent is formed between the floor vents. The mode door has a front opening hole which is formed in a front portion of the mode door, a pair of main opening holes which are formed in a rear portion of the mode door at positions spaced apart from each other, and a rear-end opening hole which is formed behind a first portion provided between the main opening holes.

The device is designed so that it encloses a volume and within the volume at least one air channel extending continuously from an inlet to an outlet is formed. The device is arranged in such a way that can be shifted in a continuously variable manner in a direction between two end positions, wherein the device in the end positions in each case closes an air outlet.The device may be arranged in an air conditioning system for a motor vehicle with means for conveying, for cooling and for heating an air mass flow, including a housing with a mixing chamber, in which the device for guiding air is arranged.

A tube for use in a heat exchanger comprises a first portion spaced apart from a second portion. At least one reinforcing structure having a non-circular cross-sectional shape extends between the first portion and the second portion to divide a flow of a fluid through the tube into a first flow channel to one side of the at least one reinforcing structure and a second flow channel to a second side of the at least one reinforcing structure. A fluid communication channel provides fluid communication between the first flow channel and the second flow channel. The fluid communication channel is at least one of a) formed through the at least one reinforcing structure and b) formed between two adjacent ones of the reinforcing structures.

Provided are a heat exchanger equipped with a cold reserving part and a manufacturing method thereof, equipped with a cold reserving part, in which since a cold reserving material charging part is formed at a portion at which an inlet and outlet member is formed, an additionally protruding part to inject the cold reserving material is not required, such that the heat exchanger may be miniaturized and may more rapidly and effectively absorb cold air to increase a cold reserving effect, and a manufacturing method of a heat exchanger equipped with a cold reserving part which forms the cold reserving material charging part to charge the cold reserving material after coating the heat exchanger to block a coating solution from introducing into the heat exchanger, thereby preventing the heat exchanger from corroding due to the coating solution to increase durability and more increase manufacturing performance.

An air conditioning system includes an intake housing with a fresh air opening and a recirculation air opening, a filter housing to admit an air filter and a fan housing with a fan for intake by suction of air through the intake housing and directing the air through the filter housing. The fresh air opening and the recirculating air opening are aligned in a common horizontal direction and in a vertical direction one above the other. The recirculating air opening is situated in the gravitational direction beneath the fresh air opening. Between the fresh air opening and the recirculating air opening a separation area is configured, with drainage means in such a way that the fluid penetrating into the fresh air opening, when flowing over the drainage means is directed past the recirculating air opening in a receiving area placed below the recirculating air opening.

A silencer for a vehicle air conditioning system is designed to reduce a noise and a vibration of a compressor transmitted into a vehicle room along coolant pipes. The silencer includes a silencer body tube and an external resonance tube. The silencer body tube is installed between the coolant pipes wherein a coolant gas flowing along the coolant pipes passes through the silencer body tube, the silencer body tube including one or more resonance holes formed on an outer circumferential surface of the silencer body tube. The external resonance tube is installed on the outer circumferential surface of the silencer body tube wherein a resonance chamber for absorbing a vibration and a noise of a coolant gas flowing through the silencer body tube is defined between the outer circumferential surface of the silencer body tube and the external resonance tube.

The drain mechanism comprises a first valve head disposed to a first side of the wall, a first spring member disposed between the first valve head and the wall, a second valve head disposed to a second side of the wall, a second spring member disposed between the second valve head and the wall, and a valve stem coupled to each of the first valve head and the second valve head. The valve stem is reciprocatingly disposed within an aperture formed in the wall. The drain mechanism is configured to be in a closed position when an internal pressure within the outlet tank is at least one of greater than a first pressure value and lower than a second pressure value.
