Abstract: PURPOSE: A check valve having a variable working function and a damping function is provided to obtain an optimum check valve depending on the installation surroundings of a check valve and the kind of fluid, and to reduce a price advance of the valve to a minimum by installing a simplified variable unit. CONSTITUTION: A check valve having a variable working function and a damping function includes a valve body, a disk, and a variable unit(110). The valve body has a fluid inflow inlet and a fluid discharge outlet, and a fluid path is formed to the inside. The disk is fixed to an arm turning on a shaft(20) installed to the inside of the valve body to open and shut the fluid path. The shaft is installed to the variable unit to be rotated. The variable unit is equipped with a housing(120) filled with working fluid, a solid of revolution(130) having a body(132) fixed to the shaft in one and plural working plates(136) forming at least one working fluid opening(134), and an opening and shutting plate(140) opening and shutting the working plate pass of the working fluid with separated from the plate surface and fixed to the working plate. One-way working and reverse working of the disk for opening and shutting of the check valve are variably performed and the moving speed at a specific section or an arbitrary section when the disk ascend and descend is lowered.
