Abstract:
본 발명은 광대역 무선 통신 망 관리 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 구체적으로는 망 관리 에이전트를 가지고 있는 에이전트 단말기가 한 기지국에서 다른 기지국으로 이동하더라도 네트워크 관리 시스템(NMS:Network Management System)이 연속적으로 에이전트 단말기를 관리할 수 있는 광대역 무선 통신 망 관리 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for displaying double pictures at the same time are provided to prevent information of a main picture from being lost by displaying the main picture partially on right or left space of a display device at a 4:3 aspect ratio and displaying a sub-picture on remained space thereof at the 4:3 aspect ratio. CONSTITUTION: The first and second video signals of various video signals inputted from a wide-type display device are received for display of double pictures, wherein the first and second video signals have common aspect ratios(401). The first video signal is scaled in resolution of a main picture having a common aspect ratio and the second video signal is scaled in resolution of a sub-picture having the common aspect ratio(404). The scaled first video signal is displayed on a certain area of a screen(404). The scaled second video signal is displayed on a remained area of the screen simultaneously with the scaled first video signal(405).

PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically tuning a channel of a television mobile telephone and controlling method thereof are provided to conveniently watch a specific broadcast program through a TV telephone by automatically convert channel as searching a local channel of a specific broadcasting station even in moving to other area with watching the specific broadcast program. CONSTITUTION: A band-pass filter(BPF)(14) filters only a signal of a TV band among propagating signals. A TV unit(16) demodulates a video and audio signal as selecting a broadcast channel corresponding to a channel tuning control signal while being connected to the band-pass filter(BPF)(14) and detects a receive sensitivity drop of a video signal of the selected channel to output the same. An MRFU(Mobile station Radio Frequency Unit)(18) receives/demodulates an incoming call of a forward channel in order to form a voice call channel among the received propagating signals and modulates a signal of a backward channel to transmit the same. A mobile control sector sets up a phone mode/TV mode in respond to an input instruction, generates a tuning control signal by setting the TV mode, provides a TV unit(16) with one of another area channel tuning signals set by responding to a current selecting channel when the video signal sensitivity received is lower than that of an already set reference sensitivity received, and disables the TV unit(16) as the incoming call is inputted from the MRFU(18) and simultaneously processes a signal accessed therefrom.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for automatically switching a local channel on a TV telephone is provided to solve problems which a user switches manually a local TV channel as the user moves to a local position. CONSTITUTION: The method includes a TV module, a key input part, an LC driving part, a control part and a RF processing part. If the local position of the TV telephone is changed(203), its channel is automatically switched according to local position change information of the TV telephone(205).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A TV phone listing a TV voice signal when a folder is closed during watching a TV and a method thereof are provided to listen only a TV voice signal using an ear phone when a folder is closed during watching a TV using a mobile TV phone. CONSTITUTION: A control unit checks whether a TV mode is selected from a key input unit(101). If a TV mode is selected, the control unit controls a TV module and outputs a TV image signal from an image signal processing unit and outputs an OSD character signal to a LCD driving unit by controlling an OSD and outputs a TV voice signal outputted from a voice signal processing unit to an ear jack by controlling a multiplexer by a voice selection signal, and displays the TV screen of corresponding channel(102). The control unit checks whether a folder is closed by sensing of a switch during watching a TV(103). If the folder is closed, the control unit cuts-off a power supply to a LCD module and cuts-off the TV image signal(104). The control unit checks whether a predetermined time is passed(105). If a predetermined time is not passed, it is checks whether an ear phone is inserted into an ear jack(106). If an ear phone is not inserted into an ear jack, the control unit cuts-off a power source of the TV module(109). If an ear phone is inserted into an ear jack, a TV voice signal is selected(107), and the voice signal is transmits to the ear jack(107). It is detected whether the ear phone is extracted(108). If the ear phone is extracted, the control unit cuts-off the power source of the TV module(109).

무선통신 시스템에서 음영지역 우회정보 제공 방법은, 해당 단말을 위한 주변환경 정보 제공 요청 트리거링이 발생할 시, 기지국이 해당 단말에 대한 주변환경 정보를 정보 서버에 요청하는 과정과, 상기 해당 단말이, 상기 정보 서버로부터 주변환경 정보를 수신하는 과정과, 상기 해당 단말이, 상기 주변환경 정보를 기반으로 주변기지국들을 스캐닝하는 과정과, 상기 해당 단말이, 상기 정보 서버로부터 수신한 주변환경 정보와 상기 주변기지국의 스캐닝 결과를 기반으로, 화면에 상기 주변기지국들과 상기 해당 단말이 표시된 디지털 지도를 디스플레이하는 과정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
Abstract:
A system and a method for detecting a fault of a base station in a communication system are provided to detect fault of a base station by an NMS(Network Management System), thereby widely and quickly detecting a fault of the base station. An NMS(140) comprises the following steps. An OTAR(Over The Air Receiver) result collector(144) receives a strength value of a receiving signal of the first base station. An OTAR result processor(146) computes an average of the signal strength value received until a current moment. A fault decider(148) compares the first and second average values determined according to the averaging computation. If the first average value is different from the second average value, the decider decides that fault occurs in the first base station.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for diagnosing a base station by using Internet in a mobile communication system are provided to enable a DMI within a base station to perform remote base station diagnosis through the Internet by using a DM, thereby removing the necessity for base station rebooting during the base station diagnosis. An apparatus for diagnosing a base station comprises a DM(Diagnosis Monitor) module(300), a DMI(DM Interface module)(321), a modem(322), an IP(Internet Protocol) interface(311) and an inner interface(325). The DM module requests information necessary for base station diagnosis to the DMI through the IP interface. The DMI collects information and transmits the collected information to the DM module through the IP interface.
