본 발명은 다중 송수신 안테나 시스템의 자동 반복 요청 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 하나 이상의 패킷이 수신될 시, 상기 수신된 패킷을 디코딩하고, 상기 디코딩된 패킷의 검출을 시도하는 과정과, 상기 패킷에서 에러가 검출될 시, 해당 에러 패킷을 저장하고, 상기 에러가 검출된 패킷의 수가 총 전송 패킷의 수 M개보다 작은 N개 일 시, 송신단으로 상기 에러가 검출된 N개의 패킷의 재전송을 요청하고, MN개의 새로운 패킷의 전송을 요청하는 과정을 포함하여, 재전송 데이터 에러율을 최소화하고, 재전송 횟수를 줄이며, 나아가 전체 데이터 전송률을 증가시킬 수 있는 이점이 있다. 다중 송수신 시스템, MIMO, 자동 재전송 요청, ARQ, 알라무티
Abstract:
A message exchanging method in a navigation system using visible light communication is provided to exchange the message between a terminal and a navigation server by using the visible communication in a large-scale building which cannot receive a GPS(Global Positioning System) signal. A navigation map server(401) stores the location of the building mapping data and each lamp. The server receives the destination information from a mobile terminal(406) through lamp by using the power line communication. According to server is the navigation algorithm and mapping data, the optimal path to the destination location is produced and transmits the optimum path to the mobile terminal.
Abstract:
An LBS offering system in a cellular communication system is provided to estimate the location of a terminal accurately by arranging cheap LBS sensors within a cell, and defining the operations of the LBS sensors. A base station stores the difference between the start points of the downlink and uplink of terminals which attempt registration(702), receives signals from LBS sensors(704), determines whether the received signals are L-M TO or not(706), and if so, determines the location of a corresponding terminal in consideration of the L-M TO(708) while if not, determines whether a signal corresponding to signal power attenuation is received or not(710). If so, the base station determines the location of the terminal in consideration of the signal power attenuation(712).
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for connecting a call in a communication system are provided to allow terminals in a call-connected state to perform a call connection at the same time for their communication. When the first terminal(420) detects that a call should be connected with the second terminal(430), it transmits a call connection request message for requesting a call connection to the second terminal, to an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(411). When the second terminal detects that a call is connected with the first terminal, it transmits a call connection request message for requesting a call connection to the first terminal, to the MSC(413). The MSC selects the second terminal and transmits a call connection release request message for releasing a call connection request of the second terminal to the second terminal(415). The MSC transmits a call connection attempt message for a call connection request by the first terminal to the second terminal(417). When the first and second terminals are connected for a call, the call connection of the second terminal is released to allow the terminals to be connected for call communication(419).

An apparatus and a method for configuring a frame of a wideband wireless communication system are provided to offer a service to a terminal of a narrowband wireless communication system by maintaining compatibility with the narrowband wireless communication system. A base station generates common control information and resource allocation information to be provided to terminals providing a service(201). The base station selects the second frequency band including resource allocation information with respect to a wideband terminal(203). The base station generates the first frequency band frame including the common control information, the resource allocation information of a narrowband terminal, and the second frequency band information(205). The base station generates the second frequency band frame including the resource allocation information of the wideband terminal(207). The base station transmits the generated first and second frequency band frames to the terminals(209).

Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for selecting a relay mode by a relay station in a multi-hop relay broadband wireless communication system are provided to reduce a processing time for estimating a channel by estimating only a header of a reception signal of the channel. A receiving unit, which includes a header extractor(407), a symbol copying unit(409), the first switch(411), an FFT calculator(417) and a decoder(419), receives signals transmitted from a base station and a terminal. A channel estimating unit estimates a channel state of a relay link by using the received signals. A relay mode selector(425) selects a relay mode by comparing the estimated channel value of the relay link and a predetermined reference value. A power amplifier(427) relays the reception signal according to the selected relay mode.

An image forming apparatus with a paper punching device is provided to print an image on paper, and simultaneously punch the paper at a high speed and prevent paper remnants generated when the paper is punched from scattering. An image forming apparatus includes a printing unit for printing an image on paper, and a paper punching device for punching the paper. The paper punching device includes a punch roller(400a) and a punch hole roller(400b). The punch roller is located next to a paper-discharging roller of the image forming apparatus and includes a punch(510). The punch hole roller includes a punch hole(520) into which the punch is inserted to punch the paper, a hollow storing paper remnants generated when the paper is punched, and a punch hole opening/closing part pushed by the punch to open the punch hole when the paper is punched. The punch hole opening/closing part closes the punch hole after the paper is punched.

A priority-based scheduling system and method in a frequency overlay communication system are provided to be compatible with an existing communication system that uses a different central frequency band. The first MS(Mobile Station) uses the first frequency band. The second MS uses the second frequency band. The first MS requests a base station to allocate resources required for using the first frequency band. The second MS requests the base station to allocate resources required for using the first frequency band. The base station determines an amount of channel quality information which the first and second MSs will feed back in consideration of the first MS preferentially according to the amount of resources requested by the MSs, and informs the MSs of the decided result.
