본 발명에 따른 마스터기기 및 상기 마스터기기와 통신제어선을 통하여 연결된 슬레이브기기를 하나의 리모콘으로 제어하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 통신제어선을 통하여 연결된 슬레이브기기를 감지하여 슬레이브기기에 기기 식별 ID를 부여하는 단계와, 상기 기기 식별 ID를 이용하여 통신제어선을 통해 상기 감지된 슬레이브기기를 ON/OFF 제어함으로써, 상기 마스터기기가 가지는 각각의 AV 단자가 어떤 슬레이브기기의 AV 단자와 연결되었는지를 파악하는 단계와, 사용자 리모콘으로부터 소정의 키코드를 입력받는 단계와, 상기 키코드에 해당하는 매핑테이블의 항목을 참조하여 상기 마스터기기와 AV 단자로 연결된 슬레이브기기 중 어떤 기기의 어떤 동작을 제어할 것인지를 결정하고, 상기 기기 식별 ID를 이용하여 통신제어선을 통해 해당 기기의 동작을 제어하는 단계를 포함한다. 이로 인해, 네트워크 상에 존재하는 다수개의 슬레이브기기를 하나의 통합 리모컨으로 제어할 수 있어, 사용자는 리모컨의 기기 변경 없이 해당 기기를 편하게 제어할 수 있는 효과가 있다. 마스터기기, 슬레이브기기, ID 부여, 연결 정보, 상태 정보, 통합 제어

본 발명은 QOS(Quality Of Service)를 지원하는 스트림 전송 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 스트림 수신 방법은 소정의 직렬 버스를 통하여 스트림의 전송을 요청하는 단계; 및 소정의 네트워크 프로토콜을 기반으로 소정의 직렬 버스를 통하여 요청에 대한 응답에 해당하는 스트림을 메모리 직접 접근(DMA, Direct Memory Access) 방식으로 수신하는 단계를 포함하며, QOS가 보장된 비동기 스트림 전송이 이루어질 수 있다.

PURPOSE: An integrated control apparatus for controlling plural controlled devices and an integrated control method are provided to control plural controlled devices connected by a host device and a network through an integrated remote controller and to confirm states of plural controlled devices through the host device, thereby rapidly dealing with the situation. CONSTITUTION: A key input member(100) inputs key control commands for controlling plural controlled devices(201,202,203). When the control command of the key input member is received, a host device(300) discriminates the states of plural controlled devices connected through a network(400) and controls the controlled device corresponding to the control command. The host device comprises a receiving member for receiving the control command inputted by the key input member. A state discriminated member discriminates the connection state of the plural controlled devices. A control member controls the controlled device corresponding to the control command according to the discriminating result.

PURPOSE: A method and a system for setting intelligent connection between an image device and a peripheral device are provided to automatically receive device information from the external peripheral device connected to the image device and calculate optimal connection setup between the image device and the external peripheral device. CONSTITUTION: A packet generating unit(120) retrieves a peripheral device(200), inquires back-panel information, and generates a data packet suitable a protocol for checking a connection state. A memory(140) stores connection state information indicating the connection state with the peripheral device. A graphic generating unit(150) generates the connection state as a graphic using back-panel information received from the peripheral device. A control unit(130) senses the connected peripheral device using the data packet, requests back-panel information of the peripheral device, calculates optical connection setup, and judges whether a current connection state is an optimal connection state on the basis of the calculated result.

PURPOSE: A method and command structure is provided to improve efficiency of connection control by allowing a user and the corresponding device to be informed of change of connection control state. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the step(S101) of establishing connection between a source device and a sink device; the step(S102) of sending connection control notification command to the source device and/or the sink device; the step(S103) of receiving the current state from the device to which the connection control notification command is sent, and waiting for the response to the change in connection control; the step(S104) of receiving the response to the change in bit field of the corresponding plug control register of the device to which the notification command is sent; the step(S105) of checking whether the on-line bit from among bit fields of the plug control register changes into zero; the step(S106) of breaking the connection if it is judged in the step(S105) that the on-line bit is changed into zero; the step(S107) of checking whether the personal connection is set and the value of connection counter is changed, if the on-line bit it not changed into zero; the step(S108) informing a user of overlay connection if the value of connection counter is changed; the step(S109) of checking whether a payload is changed if the value of connection counter is not changed; the step(S110) of adjusting bandwidth if the payload is changed; the step(S111) of checking whether the adjusted bandwidth is wide; and the step(S112) of breaking the connection of the sink device if the bandwidth is wide.

PURPOSE: DVD information transmission device and a method for the same are provided to transmit DVD information without regard to a function and construction of a device receiving a transmitted data, by properly varying a transmission format in order to output DVD information. CONSTITUTION: A device for transmitting DVD(digital versatile disc) information to another device includes a stream format converter, a re-coding device, and a stream selector. The stream format converter converts audio information and video information having a stream format to a transmission stream format, and provides a first stream. The video and audio information is read from DVD. The re-coding device mixes a video information with a sub-picture information from DVD, re-codes the mixed information according to a compressed coding system of a predetermined video information, and provides a second stream. The stream selector selects a first stream or a second stream according to a bandwidth of a transmission channel and information processing capacity of the device. The stream selector transmits the selected one to another device. Thereby, DVD information transmission device transmits DVD information without regard to a function and construction of a device receiving a transmitted data.

PURPOSE: A non-volatile semiconductor memory device having at least two storage states for each memory cell is provided to perform a single bit cell operation as well as a multiple bit cell operation in one memory cell array. CONSTITUTION: The non-volatile semiconductor memory device having at least two storage states for each memory cell includes an array of memory cells, plurality of word lines, plurality of bit lines, the first write/read circuit and the second write/read circuit. The array of memory cells is formed on a substrate defining columns and rows. Each of the memory cells has one of threshold voltages corresponding to one of four possible states. The cell array includes a main array for main data as well as a redundant array for data corresponding to defect cells and their address mapping results. The word lines are implemented along with each column. The bit lines are implemented along with each rows. The first write/read circuit writes the main data represented by the at least four possible states on cells each of which corresponds to at least two bit lines of the main array and is related to selected one of the at least two bit lines during write operation, and reads the main data from the cell related to the selected bit line during read operation. The second write/read circuit writes the device data represented by two of the at least four possible states on cells each of which corresponds to at least two bit lines of the redundant array and is related to selected one of the at least two bit lines during write operation, and reads the device data from the cell related to the selected bit line during read operation.

PURPOSE: A device for inputting a signal of a remote controller in an image displaying apparatus is provided to sense an optical power, outputted from the remoter controller through a plurality of sensors on the whole surface of the image displaying apparatus, and produce a location which the remote controller indicates on the screen of the image displaying apparatus, by using the different values of current outputted from the sensors. CONSTITUTION: A device for inputting a signal of a remote controller in an image displaying apparatus comprises: an optical receiver for outputting the different current values, according to an incident optical power from a remote controller; a switching section for outputting the inputted the current values from the optical receiver, according to a selection signal; an A/D(Analog/Digital) converter for converting the current values, inputted through the switching section to a digital signal; a controller for outputting the select signal to the switching section, when an interrupt signal is not inputted from predetermined sensors of an optical sensing section, calculating a location value which a user indicates through the remote controller, according to the digital signal inputted from the A/D converter, outputting the interrupt signal to inform location data and data input according to the result of the calculation, and outputting the select signal to the switching section; a menu operating section for performing a menu, selected by a user according to the interrupt signal outputted from the controller and the location data.
