    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for evaluating stability of a human body using a PPG(Photo-Plethysmo-Graphy) are provided to determine a stress state of a testee by using amplitude of a pulsating element, a peak to peak interval, and a baseline distribution range. CONSTITUTION: A PPG parameter including an amplitude of a pulsating element, a peak to peak interval, and a baseline distribution range is defined(51). The beams reacted with a blood element as a measuring target are irradiated to a measuring target and a PPG signal is measured from the measuring target during a predetermined period(53). A long period test and a short period test are performed by using the defined PPG parameter and the stability of a human body is evaluated by using a stress index(57).
