Abstract: PURPOSE: A terminal having an exchangeable data input device is provided to be easily operated by composing an exchangeable housing and exchanging the exchangeable housing according to selection. CONSTITUTION: The first and second opposite hinges are symmetrically located on a holding housing(20), and the holding housing(20) has a sliding surface with a certain curvature radius at a separated distance centering around the first and second hinges. The holding housing(20) is mounted and dismounted in a main housing(10). An exchangeable housing(30) has the first and second rotation sub housings. If the first and second rotation sub housings are closely rotated each other, the first and second rotation sub housings are gradually hidden in the main housing(10). If the first and second rotation sub housings are distantly rotated each other, the first and second rotation sub housings are gradually unfolded at both sides of the main housing(10).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A data terminal having a touch screen key being used as a soft hot key and a method thereof are provided to set and use a function as a soft hot key and to change a label display of a key corresponded to the soft hot key adapted to the setting. CONSTITUTION: A display unit displays a plurality of menu icons. Displayed sizes of each icon are different according to selection priorities. Touch screen keys(11,12) are soft hot keys mounted on a frame of a terminal main body. A user selects the menu icons using a selection unit(13). The selection unit(13) is embodied by a push button. A control unit(14) displays a selected icon on the touch screen keys(11,12). If the touch screen key(11,12) is touched by the user, the control unit(14) executes a function of a corresponding icon. A scroll key(15) displays the menu icons successively on the display unit. If a certain icon is selected by the selection unit(13), a memory(16) of the control unit(14) stores data for allocating a function corresponded to the selected icon on the touch screen key(11,12). The control unit(14) includes an animation processing unit(17) for displaying a movement of the selected icon to the touch screen key(11,12) on the display unit as animation.
