PURPOSE: A cooperation transmission method and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform user scheduling of a multiple antenna wireless system in order to obtain a multiple user diversity gain. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus determines a user group having channel correlation characteristics by using quantized channel correlation information(203). The apparatus selects a user according to the channel quality of group users(204). The apparatus transmits a signal by using a transmission beamforming method(205,206).

PURPOSE: A signal transmission method is provided to reduce a hand-off delay phenomenon by utilizing bandwidth and frequency interference channel information. CONSTITUTION: A network is constituted between a main transmission and reception apparatus and a terminal(201). Devices are operated in a signal channel transmission and reception mode which uses a Ω channel(202). The devices are operated in an MT(Multi-channel Transmission) mode through channels included in the Ω channel(203). The main transmission and reception apparatus measures a link state. The main transmission and reception apparatus notifies an optimal channel to the terminal.

PURPOSE: A transmit beamforming method and apparatus in an OFDM based multiantenna wireless system are provided to reduce a feedback information quantity or the quantization error of a codebook. CONSTITUTION: A channel information estimator and a channel correlation information generator(201) estimates channel information from a pilot signal and deduces time and frequency channel correlation information from the estimated channel information. A beam weight estimator(205) estimates a beam weight for a present channel. A differential vector generation and quantization unit(207) quantizes a differential vector using a defined codebook.

PURPOSE: A method and a device for estimating a channel in a multi cell wireless communication system based on OFDMA are provided to re-estimate a channel of a pilot signal using a channel estimation weight. CONSTITUTION: A target channel of a preamble signal transmitted from a target base station is estimated(310). The target channel of the pilot signal transmitted from the target base station is estimated(320). The correlation between the target channels of the pilot signal and the estimated preamble signal is estimated(330). A target channel estimation weight for re-estimating the target channel of the pilot signal is determined using the estimated correlation(340). The target channel of the pilot signal is re-estimated using the determined target channel estimation weight and the target channels of the estimated preamble signal and the pilot signal(350).

The present invention relates to a method of transmitting a synchronization signal by a main communication device in a wireless communication system including the main communication device for periodically transmitting a synchronization signal, and a plurality of terminal communication devices for transmitting and receiving a signal in synchronization with the main communication device using the synchronization signal. According to the present invention, the main communication device recognizes channel characteristics of the terminal communication devices in a system, and determines the number of repeated transmissions and the interval of transmissions according to the recognized channel information and a target transmission performance of the system to repeatedly transmit a synchronization signal when the next synchronization signal is transmitted, so that performance degradation due to a failure in reception of a synchronization signal and consumption of power can be significantly reduced by improving a synchronization signal reception performance of the terminal communication device.
