Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method of cooperative interference mitigation and resource management in a wireless dual-hop relay system with multiple antennas are provided to control relay interference by using the transmission channel correlation information of a user in order to increase the capacitance of an MIMO relay system. CONSTITUTION: A reception unit receives average channel information of a relay from a multi-reception antenna of a user. A determination unit uses a maximum eigenvector to select an orthogonal user. A generation unit generates a beam weight value of a base station and a relay depending on the selection of the orthogonal user. A calculation unit calculates the estimated capacitance of a relay system by using an S/N(Signal to Noise) ratio. A transmission unit transmits the transmission power allocation information to the relay.

PURPOSE: A multiple intrinsic beam-forming transmission/reception method in a multiple antenna system and apparatus thereof are provided to transmit a signal by forming multiple intrinsic beams at the same time to a direction of a main characteristic vector that is belong to a transmission channel correlation matrix of multiple users. CONSTITUTION: A transmission unit transmits transmission channel correlation information to a base station. A system capacity calculator(311) of the base station calculates a system capacity by using channel correlation information that received from the multiple users. A scheduling association user of the base station and usage decider(313) decides the user for a maximum system capacity by using the system capacity calculator. A transmission unit of the base station transmits the multiple intrinsic-beams by forming according to a user decision result.

A method of signal transmission based on differentially quantized channel information in a multi-antenna wireless communication system which can transmit signal to multiple mobile stations simultaneously through multiple transmit antennas includes a main codebook reporting step of each mobile station for quantizing channel correlation information (CCI) using a main-codebook and reporting an index of the main codebook, which corresponds to the quantized CCI, to a base station. A sub-codebook reporting step of each mobile station for quantizing the change of the CCI between the quantization interval using a sub-codebook and reporting an index of the sub-codebook, which corresponds to the quantized CCI change, to a base station. A multi-user eigen-beam transmission step of the base station for generating multiple eigen-beams using the index of the main-codebook or sub-codebook reported from mobile stations and transmitting them to multiple users simultaneously.

CONSTITUTION: An apparatus determines a user group having channel correlation characteristics by using quantized channel correlation information(203). The apparatus selects a user according to the channel quality of group users(204). The apparatus transmits a signal by using a transmission beamforming method(205,206).

본 발명은 다중 안테나(multiple-input multiple-output: 이하 MIMO)를 사용하는 무선 이중-홉 릴레이 통신 시스템(wireless dual-hop relay systems: 이하 MIMO 릴레이)의 하향링크(downlink)에서 다중 안테나의 송신 채널 상관(transmit channel correlation) 정보만을 이용하여 릴레이로 인해 발생하는 기지국 셀 내에 있는 사용자에게 간섭 영향을 줄이기 위한 기지국과 릴레이 간 협력 송신 빔형성(cooperative transmit beamforming) 기법과 그와 연동된 송신 전력 할당(transmit power allocation) 기법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 실제적으로 셀룰러 시스템의 하향링크는 릴레이 간섭에 의해 성능이 크게 제한되며, 이러한 간섭 특성은 릴레이 간섭 채널의 채널 특성 뿐 만 아니라 릴레이의 송신 빔형성 방식, 기지국과 릴레이에 할당된 송신 전력에 따라 달라지게 된다. 본 발명에서는 다중 사용자의 송신 채널 상관 정보가 물리적으로 서로 독립적인 특성을 갖는다는 사실을 이용하여 기지국과 릴레이 간 송신 채널 상관 정보를 공유함으로써 릴레이 채널과 간섭 채널의 상관도 특성이 서로 직교적인(orthogonal) 사용자 조합을 선택하고 선택된 사용자의 송신 채널 상관도의 최대 고유치(eigenvalue)에 해당하는 고유 벡터(eigenvector)를 송신 빔의 가중치로 사용하여 릴레이 간섭을 회피하는 협력방식의 고유 빔형성 기법과 장치를 제안한다. 또한 제안된 빔형성 기법을 간섭 특성에 따라 기지국과 릴레이의 송신 전력을 적응적으로 할당하는 기법과 연동하여 성능을 최적화한다. 협력통신(cooperative transmission), 빔포밍(beamforming), 릴레이 간섭(relay interference), 분산 자원 관리(distributed resource management), 공간 상관도(spatial correlation)
