PURPOSE: A method for evaluating acne based on the detection of dehydroepiandrosterone(DHEA)-sulfate and cholesterol sulfate in hair is provided to confirm the concentration difference of the DHEA-sulfate and the cholesterol sulfate in a normal sample and a sample from an acne patient. CONSTITUTION: Hair is hydrolyzed under a basic condition. A triethylamine buffer solution is used as a developing solvent to eliminate analysis interfering substance from the hair. An analyzing substance is concentrated using a concentrated column. A triethylamine solution and acetonitrile is supplied to the analyzing substance as a developing solvent to obtain the analyzing substance from the concentrated column. The eluted analyzing substance is applied to an analyzing column. The concentrations of DHEA sulfate and cholesterol sulfate are measured using a liquid chromatographic-mass spectrometry.

PURPOSE: A method for simultaneously analyzing cigarette ingredients and metabolites in urine is provided to analyzing material at once and easily check smoking-associated diseases. CONSTITUTION: A method for simultaneously analyzing cigarette ingredients and metabolites in urine comprises: a process of extracting analysate from urine in a solid phase; a process of isolating the extracted material by liquid chromatography; and a process of analyzing the concentration of metabolite and cigarette ingredients by mass spectrometry. The cigarette ingredient and metabolite are nicotine, metabolite thereof, NNK(4-(Methylnitro samino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone) or metabolite thereof. The analysis process is performed by qualification in MRM(Multiple Reaction Monitoring).

PURPOSE: A method for analyzing difference of steroid hormone bio metabolite from two sample groups is provided to general metabolism tendency. CONSTITUTION: A method for analyzing difference of steroid hormone bio metabolite from two sample groups comprises: a step of extracting steroid hormone bio metabolite including male hormone, female hormone, corpus luteum hormone, sterol, and adrenal cortical hormone; a step of extracting the extracts again using an organic solvent; a step of measuring concentration of steroid hormone bio metabolite in urine by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry; and a step of comparing the concentration of liver steroid hormone bio metabolite between two samples. The organic solvent is a mixture solvent containing ethyl acetate and normal hexane.

A selective extraction method of a steroid compound using polymerized beta-cyclodextrin is provided to extract various shapes of the steroid hormones from a biological sample effectively through a simple process. A selective extraction method of a steroid compound using polymerized beta-cyclodextrin powder comprises the steps of: adding buffer solution and hydrolase to a liquid sample including the steroid compound; removing a water layer by centrifugation after adding and stirring hardened beta-cyclodextrin powder that beta-cyclodextrin monomer forms a layer structure by being bridged-bonded by epichlorohydrin and metal ions are spread between the layers of the bridged beta-cyclodextrin polymer to the reaction solution; and extracting the steroid compound by applying organic solvents after adding phosphate buffer solution and polar organic solvents, and controlling pH at a range of 9.0 - 10.0.

Provided is a method for analyzing metabolite differences between a control group and an experimental group by extracting all metabolites by a standard extracting method from biological samples, obtaining a chromatogram by chromatography, quantifying for statistic processing and detecting significant differences between two materials by principle component analysis(PCA) and discriminant analysis(DA). The method for analyzing metabolite differences between two biological samples includes extracting metabolites from biological samples by sequentially performing i) solid state extraction, ii) liquid-liquid extraction under weak acid condition, iii) liquid-liquid extraction under weak acid after hydrolysis, and iv) liquid-liquid extraction under basic condition. Also, the method further includes the steps of analyzing the extracted metabolites by chromatography, converting the result of the chromatography into numbers for statistic processing, and statistically verifying the differences between two biological samples using the converted numbers. The weak acid condition is pH 5 to pH 5.5, and the basic condition is pH 13 to 13.5. The hydrolysis is performed using beta-glucuronidase and arylsulfatase.

본 발명은 기체 크로마토그래피-질량분석기에 기초한 머리카락 중의 내인성 코티손을 검출하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 의한 머리카락 중의 내인성 코티손을 검출하는 방법은, 검체인 머리카락을 가수분해시키는 제 1단계; 상기 제 1단계를 통해 가수분해시킨 검체를 고체상 추출법으로 추출하는 제 2단계; 상기 추출된 검체를 유도체화시키는 제 3단계; 상기 유도체화된 검체를 기체 크로마토그래피 컬럼을 통과시키는 제 4단계; 및 상기 기체 크로마토그래피 컬럼을 통과한 검체를 질량분석기를 이용하여 분석하는 제 5단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의한 방법은 간단하고 빠르게 소량의 시료로도 바람직한 분석감도를 확보하는 장점이 있다. 따라서 본 발명을 이용할 경우 분석감도의 확보, 높은 정확성과 재현성, 분석의 신속성 및 간편성 등을 만족시킬 수 있다. 이로 인해 머리카락 중의 내인성 코티손의 함량을 정확히 알 수 있어, 탈모 등의 특정 질병의 표지인자(biomarker)로 유효하고 적절한 판단지표를 제공할 수 있다.
